Last summer I watched your first video on food storage and it was extremely helpful . Now I am being intentional to keep the drawer and cabinet organized that holds my food storage containers. Update on my no spend February, 16 days with no spending on non-essential items. I am a shopping addict and this is very helpful to overcome my too much spending. Thanks so much for your encouragement Teresa. P.S. I am working on decluttering my closet and it is so freeing.
Confession: I've cheated on this February's, "no spend challenge!" As I walked my dog one morning last week, I came across an estate sale! I walked past it and straight home. But as the morning went on.... I couldn't fight the erge to go back. Yes, I broke down and walked over there. (It was wonderful! Lol.) I spent $5.00 on a vintage bread knife and three coffee mugs that are a match to my set and replace two that we had broke. Then all heck broke loose, and I went to the thrift store! 😮😂 where I found a set of 4 small copper jello/chocolate molds for $4.00. These were something I had been looking for, and at this price, I couldn't afford not to buy them! I felt so thankful for my finds and fulfilled that i did go home afterward. Since I have a new hobby of baking bread, I've been better at keeping my kitchen storage organized. I should incorporate the lable system as my husband is happy to clean and put things away, but he doesn't always remember where to put them. I can see how this would save him time trying to figure out where things go and me trying to find them.
Lydia, I loved reading your comment! Laughed out loud! I am so glad you went - what wonderful finds! I cheated also - 2x this week, eating food out 😬 It’s about progress, not perfection, right?
@@teresaelling-peacefulhome hahahaha! 🤣 Well, I do feel better now. And yes I'm happy with any progress! And thank you for presenting this challenge, its actually been fun and productive for me personally.
I still can’t believe how easy it was to tidy these drawers because I have decluttered several times over the past 2 years! 🤩

I am super proud of you, Jackie!!
I know this is not easy and you are really pressing into change.
Way to go!! 💛👏🏼🎉
I got rid of plastic a few years ago & only used glass for storing dry goods. Best decision ever!
I agree! I am still in process. Trying to have that decision leak to all areas of the home.
Thanks so much for watching and for commenting! 😊
