Making Lemon Dish Soap with Recipe!!

Thanks for watching!! Today we made a coconut oil dish soap scented in Lemon essential oil. The recipe is at the bottom of the description so you can make some too!

My Soap Ingredients:
Olive oil, sustainable palm oil, coconut oil, water, sodium hydroxide, sweet almond oil, castor oil, Shea butter (sometimes canola oil), fragrance, kaolin, sodium lactate, organic coconut milk powder, mica, (sometimes titanium dioxide), (sometimes Eco glitter).

My handmade soap business is ran out of my home. I do have 4 children, 2 dogs, and a husband so sometimes you will hear them in the background. My soaping room is separate and no one (including the dogs!!) are allowed in there at anytime except for me. This is to ensure no one is harmed if there are any spills and we have locking gates up to ensure no one goes in there when I’m not looking. Safety and quality control are a top priority for me and my business.

Recipe:
Coconut Oil: 15.2 oz
Castor Oil: 0.8 oz
Water: 5.3 oz
Lye: 2.9 oz
Essential Oil: 0.3 oz
This makes a 1 pound batch of dish soap. I recommend using an individual cavity mold as these get really hard very quickly and will be difficult to cut in a loaf mold.
Note: I reduce the water to about 4 oz. This is optional. I find it reduces soda ash.
