I remember when my best friend recommended Payday 2 to me. After getting used to the controls, we joined a crew hitting the Golden Grin. Ahhh... That big ass drill, the cloakers, the giant stacks of money. And of course, us comparing the Golden Grin to Trump Casino.
Say what you will about this game, Overkill knows how to make it feel goooood when you see/gather your hard-earned loot for the first time
But in the end most of it goes to offshore.
Example: Deathwish on Hoxton Breakout: I got to spend $1M after the heist but but 90% of it goes to offshore. RIP
But yeah, still worth it.

The bag moving really kills this heist for me. The actual stealth is really fun, but it takes so long to move the bags solo. It actually took me longer to secure all the loot than it did for me to complete all the stealth objectives.
And then there’s me: struggling to go unnoticed for 5 seconds

As someone who works in a casino this is satisfying to watch :p

+Anna Aldrin I also work in a casino, I just find it funny how odd everything is in game. not enough slots, not enough table games, and the vault is wayyyyyyy to damn big. The drop team carts in the employee only area was a nice touch tho.

Under 14 minutes run is possible in loud. Managed to do that with 2 crewmates on Normal, took us 13:40. Entry with C4 is mandatory, other assets were for the faster drilling.
Hauling the loot to the limo takes 1:40, so you gotta get into the vault before the clock hits 12:20. Just gotta do all objectives simultaneously and lockpick all the doors while waiting for the winch delivery and stuff.

I'm actually disappointed at the payout.
george77772moons it's a lot of money bags, but money bags are also one of the least paying loot bags. That's pretty much how I assume overkill went and balanced the loot for this heist (not to make it super OP for money)
Well in my opnion, these dlc heist's are never that good for money, but i still find myshelf doing these often just because its fun... If you need money you should just play rats or something like that but if you just repeat rats over and over again with car 4 and locomotive, you are not usually enjoying playing payday that much (note: only my opnion and sry about bad english, this was maybe my longest comment answer that i have ever done =D)

its actually fair that there's less guards in the back, mainly cause of the amount of bags to move, imagine big bank bag moving w/o a escape with 10x bags
Gen did with the heli escape and moving bags, it takes like 20 minutes.

trust me when I say that you did the right thing avoiding the dentist's loot until last. The escape zone is massive and I accidentally stepped on it the first time I successfully stealthed it.

Finally the GGC is available on PS4, I would like to go it solo stealth too, do you have a skill/perk-layout or blueprint for me I can use? I am currently sitting at I-100
After so many years i came back to try and stealth this on a new gaming machine. And this map still chugs frames like ass
They changed the guard rotation for the employees only area in the back, you can now have 3 to 4 guards standing and patroling there. Makes it pretty hard without ECMs and/or Camera Loop
That panic civ at the beginning, IMHO is a reference to "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas"

one thing: if he pumped the sleeping gas into the room, how is he not affected by the gas, it wouldve dissapated, but that will take time and he goes to the room just after pumping the gas

After watching this vid, I gave it a go on "normal" after about 30 attempts I finally got it. Soooooo... I thought I would try it on DW. I took out the 2 guards around the back when I was sprung by another (3rd guard). I restarted the game and went around back in civ clothes and it seems that there are now 4 guards. 2 that stay there and another 2 that patrol and also go into the casino. Has this changed or is the number of guards random?
+Reginaldesq They changed it, it was to easy on DW - try and kill 3 gaurds roaming in the back, do not kill the one near the locker room - you can easily move past him.

If in civilian mode, and the alarm gets raised, what would happen? Like if only one person got their kit and blew stealth.

You stay in civ mode a bit, then automatically mask up with everything.

Do you know how to get tier 4 skills? I just got my first infamy but i still can't get them yet.
i never do the unlocked back cage doors asset... doing that one will cause the guard that walks from side to side walk past the security room door about 75% of the time for me. and using the vault key chain assets you can open them in usually in one or two go's, with the guard almost never changing his path past the security rooms.
i find that pretty important as you sometimes halve 4 guards in the back.. one on each side and two walking from one side to the other..
i love doing this heist with friends tho... they gamble and help me spot sometimes and i just stealthly do all the objectives.
