so, you wanna be a judge, but when asked a question about 'why did you donate money to this person', you just sit there in embarrassed silence because you prayed those questions would never come up, thus showing your true political partisanship. NOT QUALIFIED.

Or, you refuse to justify a lawful campaign contribution to a Senator who has his nose in all the troughs, pushing his minority rule agenda and spiritual matters into secular life.

She just didn't want to say "because I believe in communism'. She just sat there looking completely stupid. She might as well have just answered the questions with "I don't believe Monday is the day after Saturday", and then let the Dems argue that she DID answer the question.
Campbell did not comport herself well at all. She looks surprised at the vitriol and the Republican senators repeated attempts to ask the same question over and over. Lipez was far more prepared it seemed.
Having said that, both were right not to respond to open-ended questions about one's non-professional life or absurd bad faith BS like "You didn't find the defendants guilty of reckless endangerment.. did you not think they were reckless???"

But besides that, it was illegitimate because her connection to the organization in question was paper thin. Under oath, Campbell provided a simple, easy-to-understand explanation for her association with the group before they have assumed a political stance. I haven't changed my TH-cam photo in 15 years. It is entirely plausible that her ABA profile is wrong or at least out-of-date. And anyway, it's easy to verify. If she lied, they have her for perjury. They kept going because they wanted the sound bite.

What will it take to require Senators ask questions under oath? Why shouldn’t they? Errors in “vigorous debate” can possibly be corrected, even after the fact, but lies shouldn’t be tolerated.

As a Vermont Resident, and as a former client of Mary Kay, i can say with EXTREME CONFIDENCE Mary Kay is the best pick any American could ask for to serve as a Federal Judge. Also i am a more right of center on the political scale as it stands today and also as someone who has disagreed with a majority of Bidens choices over the last few years i can say this is probably his BEST decision he has made in his entire presidency. She is truely an attorney that will not only lookout after her clients and really listen to them and fight for them but she also has a very deep respect for the Laws. Those 2 qualities together you wont find in many attornies these days

While you are correct that it is not a crime to support a communist organization in the US, nor is it a crime to support a candidate with radical views, it is a crime to lie under oath. She was embarrassed so she didn't want to answer.
This is about finding the best people to uphold the law of the land. We have a constitution and bill of rights as well as statutes and other legal laws that are to be followed. She has never been a judge and the way it works to be appointed is you must be voted in by the legislature after being nominated by the executive.
Your nonsense about stripping women of autonomy is ridiculous and doesn't need comment. You see, women have the exact same rights as men in this country, and if you go into family court it could be argued that they have more. The victim mentality the left loves to to play off of to keep people in their sphere is working very well.
