As SOON as she said she was influenced by a movie to become a stripper, I INSTANTLY knew it was Player’s Club. It was a very popular movie in our culture in the 90’s (Cult Classic for blacks) about the life of a beautiful stripper girl (actress Lisa Raye). It was supposed to be a cautionary tale; but like most “cautionary tales” (think Scarface, Goodfellas, etc.), it does the exact opposite to vulnerable teens & young adults.
My story has some areas of overlap with hers, sans the same sex relationships, theft, addictions & stripping. But it’s a very relatable one for a few other reasons.
I thank God he’s pulled this beautiful young lady out of her seasons of darkness into His bosom, His love, & His peace. I’m so happy for her deliverance!🎉❤

Know this, that Yes there are those that get delivered easier than others, however we must keep in mind that HIS timing is perfect and since I have surrendered my expectations of when I will be finally delivered, there has been a huge shift in the realm of the spirit praise GOD. You are freakin amazing and such an inspiration. I had a similar situation with alcohol. I asked Jesus for help. The very next day I had a seizure and never touched alcohol again. I wonder if the demon was taken out. I have never felt better in my life! Praise Jesus. I have been on fire for Christ ever since!

Chrisgreen2299 please do your research. AA was founded by " the Oxford group. Christ centered based on biblical principles. Unfortunately it was waterd down to attract more people. God can work through anything and I've seen many, many come to Christ through AA.

Yeap, I have a family member who treats AA like her religion. She’s 20 years (or more) sober but chain smokes, addicted to soda and curse like a sailor, very mean spirited. No where near a Christian

This hit home because iam struggling with a drug and alcohol addiction and sex addiction as well due to trauma also dealing with depression for 6 yrs and being chronically ill from mold exposure for 5 yrs and almost dying from sepsis I really need God to deliver me I want to give up I’m losing the battle to fight 😢 I can’t go to church because ppl are so judgmental I’ve been so suicidal that ppl in the church even walked right past me even the pastor 😢

The 12 step program is a God given program. If it wasn't for A.A. I would have NEVER believed in God and I wouldn't have found out who Jesus is. A.A saved my eternal spirit, I went in there an atheist. I tried getting sober in church and it didn't work. You don't have go to church to be baptized in the Holy Spirit and find Jesus. Different things work for different people. But it's ALLLL about Jesus and what he did on the cross for us. There's plenty of us in the meetings who know the truth about the Holy Spirit being our teacher and Jesus being our savior. I'm glad she found her way though.

Imo, there's no difference between the addiction to heroin or pills. There's a difference between the ingredients, but not the addiction...IMO. I always felt it to be just as strong. And suboxone is just as bad be cause of the facts that if you stop cold turkey, you be pulled right back because of the withdrawal. Bless this beautiful woman for sharing this very important testimony!!!!

God Bless you, Daisha. While I've never understood drug usage & am a person who's high on life & gets "high" by running, working out, etc., the Devil used other things to steer me from God. I've completely rebuked the Devil in all aspects of my life, baptized since 8/18/07.

It sounds like you have a calling to be a deliverance minister.
From personal experience, you still need to have spiritual ties broken, and other strongholds broken.
Demons will continue to try to come back in, that also means fallen angels. I had many demonic spirits cast out of me.
Deliverance ministers of Christ are so needed. Not many deliverance ministers or ministries.

Dont be scared.. I do self diverance alot.. I listen to Robert clancy.. He is excellent.. All that will happen is some yawning, burping, gas, shaking, eyes watering, sometimes vomiting so I recommend that you fast if you can.. Or like 1 piece of toast.. Eat afterward. Its not like in the movies unless you are possesed..

I, too, was a stripper in my twenties. I just tell people I was a prostitute. Although I was not seducing men outside the club or standing on a street corner asking for payment, Jesus helped me to understand that a prostitute is a prostitute before him. I had to repent for being a harlot church.
I heard Jesus Christ of Nazareth call me by my first name in the City of Detroit, Michigan.
Jesus came to save the lost, not the saved. Most of Jesus' ministry was public, and the real first church apostles continued Jesus public ministry. I visited a apostolic church recently in Winston-Salem, NC. I was saddened by what the paster of that church said regarding lost souls walking past his church building. I will never visit that church again. Jesus let me see Him in a dream, and Jesus sent me onto the streets with Him personally. I absolutely love Jesus' public ministry. I met a man at an Ohio Greyhound bus station about 4 days back. He just got out of prison for drug possession and killing another inmate. He was traveling back to his home. I mentioned something about scriptures and my spiritual dad Gene Moody. I noticed a puzzle and somewhat discomfort look on the man's face. He asked, "Did you say Gene," I said yes. He said that when he was in confinement for 16 months for stabbing another inmate that he read the Bible and one of Gene's books. The beautiful thing is that the man had a repenting heart and asked for God's forgiveness for taking another man's life. JESUS can reach people from any walk of life. That's why I'm against capital punishment, state governor's could be putting a repented and forgiven sinner to death. Jesus meets each individual on their level. I was a terrible hot mess, and I'm still not perfect.
