DragonOS FocalX Decode LTE Control Channels w/ E200 (AntSDR, FalconGUI)

  • Short video showing how the AntSDR E200 w/ UHD is capable of running the Falcon tool. No unique user info shown in this video as the FalconGUI is just a survey tool for network analytics. It decodes the Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) of a base station and reveals the number of currently active devices including their Radio Network Temporary Identifiers (RNTIs) and their individual resource allocations.
    As I mentioned in the video, if there's a desire to do so, please see the following link for information on how to donate to East Palestine, Oh.

    Do you know if LImeSdr mini 2.0 works? Also, why is the number of RNTI changing and is that showing the traffic bandwidth per RNTI? thanks!

    • @cemaxecuter7783
      @cemaxecuter7783  ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question.. i did install the limesuite that supports the 2.0 (there’s been updates since) and recompiled soapy and more against it. I think if you installed the uhd soapy I have in the directory it’ll run via uhd soapy, not the normal soapy. I’ll give it a try. So with Falcon it is supposed to be showing the traffic up/down per user.. this was removed from LTESniffer. Which by the way I got the api working w/ x310! There was something I was going to ask you, I’ll have to remember.

      Falcon w/ it’s srsRan version it used wasn’t updated from what I recall to run with soapy8 or something like that so I had to compile it with direct soapy removed.

    Do you source parts from the Mayfield microcenter?

      I’ve not, but I have used micro center a long time ago (I think)..

    Is there a way I can run Falcon with the Hackrf One ?

    • @cemaxecuter7783
      @cemaxecuter7783  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually it can work to come extent, but you’d have to install the uhd soapy package I have in the /usr/src/falcon directory. You’ll see a deb package I put there. It should allow the hackrf to be seen by uhd. I’d uninstall when you’re not using it.

      @@cemaxecuter7783 ok, then any tool exist for this work like GSMevil2 , I saw it in your previous video its only work on GSM not on LTE

    • @cemaxecuter7783
      @cemaxecuter7783  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don’t think so, there’s one project called srsLTE sniffer or something to that effect, but I’ve not seen it work and the author later said it wasn’t complete or only worked in his country.

      @cemaxecuter7783  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can, however, there’s another additional step to do so. You’ll find a readme in the folder. Basically you have to install the uhd soapy package I put in the /usr/src/falcon folder. I would uninstall the package when not needing it. You’ll only be able to decode up to 20Mhz wide.

      I’ll try it on my end asap. I would do a search with my phone as to what earfcn and downlink. Plug it in and I think I left all other settings default minus the change off of file source.
