I am a tiger, domestic cat, and border collie aussie mix therian. You have helped me a lot in the past eight months of finding put my theriotypes. I really want more gear for my theriotype's
for tiger tails I recommend faux fur tails on etsy or fursuit tails on etsy (or fursuit makers in furry groups on facebook etc), for domestic cat tails the same. Border collie the same too. All 3 are also possible to make out of yarn, tho the cat tails a bit more difficult I'd say. Besides tails, you got many many other options as I gave in the video! :D I hope there is something you might like.

Aww that sucks, my school lets me wear my tail and stuff around and my tigers and coaches accept it ^^ But it’s okay because some schools have a strict dress code policy
I told the vice principal at my school abt therians and therian gear, and they are totally fine with it!
I'm not allowed to wear gear at school either but one of my theriotypes is a lynx and the tail is small so I find a way🙃

It's interesting that people tend to assume that those who choose to wear tails or collars, etc
are looking for attention. Self expression =/= attention seeking. Wearing something because you like
it or because it has meaning for you does not equal attention seeking. Rather than jumping the gun or
assuming, people need to learn how to ask questions so that they can learn more about people rather
than choosing to be willfully ignorant and needlessly judge-mental.
Welly yeh, they're often big or unusual, so then people will start staring and with a closed minded mindset or such.. bullying happens. But no matter how unfair it is, sadly it still happens as long as schools or parents or public things such as work or society as a whole doesn't take action. :/
yeah im never looking for attention. i dont want it im scared of it but i still do it lmao. even if you do want a bit of attention from wearing ears and tails ect. thats okay , its like wearing a fancy dress because its looks good haha
About alternative gear I find pins are awesome for someone like me who wears them alot, of like a therian symbols because unless you're in that community you'll notice it

hiya!! I have some ideas for therians here. You can use excuse to get things such as for Halloween go as you therian type and bam you have (some) gear. Want a tail? If you have a fluffy hood on your coat and you can take it off (most of the time you can) use that as a tail! You can go to local shops and try on/ buy the harnesses for a “pet”.

Curruently I'm working in a sorting centrum where I have to sort fruit and vegetables, weigh them and put them in boxes. So that they can be shipped out to stores to be sold. However while it's well paid, it's only a temporary job until I'm done with studying after which I'll find a job I plan on doing the rest of my life to earn my living from. So far, I do this current job to earn some money for school, my car and other simular things.

also idk if im a therian or not, when i was littler i growled like a wolf and ran off from my teachers and hide to calm my self down and im over protected of my friends because i dont want to lose him yes i have one main friend for now so yea also my one main friend his family does a ritual were ones that dont have there spirit animal sit close to a fire and stares and has an open mind and the leader can see everyone animal even if u dont know urs at that time and my friends animal is a deer
when i was little i loved to play tag because i get to chase people and i also like running from them i do grow, bark, howl and other animal noises but i never like did a shift in a way but when i look at the moon i only think of the moon but i can break that and sometimes when i have not be outside for a little and have not noticed my surrounding s i feel connected to nature. so what am i i also really want to find my spirit animal if i an find it i think i will know what i am i also had a dream were i was in a black room and saw a wolf and i think we talked for a little till i had to awaken :( so yea. also when i was little i did act like a cat or dog idk witch i did and this was in 3ed/4th grade i hid under desks and played on the floor with a freidn that has betrayed me so yea i think i will come in as a gray or whiteish gray wolf it depend on my spirit animal.
Pretty much mentioned exactly what I think about necklaces. They don't catch attention at all and can mean a lot. I love a collar and tail though. When it comes to gear my theriotype is the biggest pain in the butt. So shirts are impossible to get and necklaces require improvising.

I know I’m a year late but I just wanted to say that I used to have dogs, and two of them sadly passed away, so I took the tag off of one of my old collars from them and put it on a choker to create a collar that will fit me! They were puppies so their collars don’t fit me lol. Just an idea to through out to those who need help with finding collars! You can just go to a jewelry/ fashion store, buy a choker, go to the vet/ pet store and buy a tag to put onto the choker, and there you go! You can go onto a therian amino and try to find me as Ember Wolf because I’m posting a pic of my “collar”

I have a friend that thinks I'm "playing" and everytime I shift it's always "oh look she's TuRnInG iNtO a WoLf guys let's RuN she's going to KiLl uS" and I'm scared to shift around them but I literally can't control it. It was the same thing at a 6 person sleepover last night and I got super hyper in the garden and started practicing my barking (cause I'm a like middle aged wolf but I can't hekking do a deep bark, i sound like a pup, anyone got any tips?) So yeah, any advice would be helpful ♥🎨
haha sorry i havve no tips, but this is the same with me. sometimes i just growl at people so i havve to cover it up but talking in a deep voice so they think its a joke. i always feel like running away now as a wolf and howling baking ect

I don't know any shops in the UK specificly, I would take a look on Etsy (and see if they ship to the UK), a look on an amazon site from UK specific (if this exists) and on local markets/shops/comic cons.

It is so hard to find gear of my type, only shirts are possible. But then to buy a tail, it costs around 70€ and doesn't ship to my country. Of course I can buy synthetic hair and make it into a tail, I have one horse necklace, but it's not that great. I really love your videos, I can't believe, that I am watching them for so long! I love every single of them! ;)
perhaps nonoshop has a horse necklace, or some other shops on etsy? For horse hair tails, I recommand asking around in furry or fursuit maker groups on facebook. I'm sure you'll find someone who can make you a custom horse tail! I also know that you can on some website buy treal horse hairs, which are just cut off (so no one is hurt). So perhaps you can create something yourself then. Just google a bit around.
If it helps, I'd als be possible to make a 'horsekin' tshirt on my redbubble shop (they cost between 16 and 18 dollars I think) or a 'they can't see what you can see through your animal eyes' one with a horse in the paw.
Eitherway I hope you'll find something!
PD By the way, I am an Equidae Cladotherian. I have tried to find tails, but they all cost millions or they don't ship to my country at all. I don't want to pay millions for a tail, that is not important at all.
Did u try visiting/emailing local people with horses/hore ranches/etc? Often people cut off the tail of the horses for fashion (or simply as it's too long or such) and throw them away, but some actually sell it or you could perhaps pick up some for free on a ranch! U never know.

I just discovered that I was a Therian this year and My theriotype is a sea Lion,any tips?
i bought a forison tail. it looked fine, but my only complaint was it snapped in half because i accidentally pulled on it when standing up. they seem somewhat genuine though theyre probably chinese.

Pd what I do with my ears is I try to find some that match my hair color and then I wrap my hair around my eers
I can understand that, personally I'd do that but as I only am a swiss white shepherd dog and only would get ears to resemble these.. I could never get a pair that matches my hair. I probs wouldn't wear them outside of cosplay purposes.
This was very helpful because I am a new therian(I just had my first two mental shifts!!) and I am not allowed to wear my ears or tail at school😑 so now I know other ways to have therian gear at school. I am pretty sure my theriotypes are a parrot or some sort of dog that is really fluffy any Ideas?
Cool! Be sure to do lots of research on therianthropy, there is a lot to learn and discover about it! It's sad that your school forbid them, but luckily you know some other options now.
Also, well I personally can't help a lot. As you are the only one who knows who you are. But I can recommand you to do lots of self-observation (who am I, what do I do, how do I feel, why do I feel this way,..), research (which animals exist, which animals do I look like, how do they live,..) and self-reflections (looking back at what you thought before, thinks now and then ask yourself questions if this is really the truth etc).
There are lots of parrots and fluffy dogs! googling a bit of random animals, watching a documentary or youtube videos, or simply taking an animal book from the library might help you out finding that animal you identify as! :)

PD I looked at different dog behaviors and I've narrowed it down to poodle mixes! I am so excited I think I'm probably a Cockapoo or a goldendoodle! That you so much for replying and for the help.
Just try to take ur time! Many do months to years to find their true theriotype so no need to hurry up haha. Goodluck with your research!
PD I know! but I think this because I look like human 😒 version of a golden doodle and my last mental shift I recorded. And compared it to a video that my friend sent me if her golden doodle, and they were very similar behavior wise. But it is just a hunch, and I will of course continue to do research to see if this hunch is correct.

Therians existed 5years ago?! I thought it started in 2022
The therian community exists since 1992 actually! And the otherkin community can be found back in writings since the 1970’s
However the modern therian community as how you might know it, with masks, tails and quadrobics only really started to emerge since 2020 ish or whenever Tiktok became a trend. This drasticly changed the age dynamics and types of subcultures getting involved in the therian community. This shifted the attention and typicalities of the therian community quite a bit.
Some of the differences being that before 2020, the majority of the therian community was between 20 and 30 years old, nowevedays it is between 8 and 16 years old. There was Some gear such as tails, ears and pawgloves but there was more focus on taxidermy collection for example than artistic creations such as masks, furry costumes. There were a few “kinsonas” and “kinsuits”, basicly characters based on ones theriotypes. Nowedays it seems like most therians own some type of character-presentation of their theriotype. There also was some quadrobics, but it was not popular or a trend like is nowedays and surely wasn’t something therianthropic. It was more something therians occasionally did for fun. There are quite a few other differences too, but these seem the most noticeable.

I rlly want another tail (my one is rlly big xD) kinda like yours but it's so hard to find a good fake fur tail. I'd happily wear a real fur one but my mum would have a spazz at me. Also as a wolf it kinda feels strange to wear a another tail but i dont mind.

I advice etsy for fake fur tails as well as custom makers can be found there for reasonable prices. Furry groups on facebook and fursuit maker groups work too, even if you aren't a furry. Have you looked for yarn tails? These might be a realistic fake fur option! :) And often you can select desired size on purchase (atleast on etsy)

I'm actually buying a new tail soon I'm still looking for one I have been checking the description on them most of them are from Chinese fur farmes I'm thinking of making a yarn tail
yarn tails are also a very good option and often not all too expensive, tho hey require quiet some time & effort to be created. U can also buy (custom) yarn tails on etsy, or ask in a fursuit group on facebook for someone who's willing to make u one.
Sadly enough yes, most tails are from chinese furfarms as those are usually the cheapest and the best selling ones :/ always be sure to check well before you buy!

hmm :/ Perhaps wearing it at your side might work? Then you can simply say it's for fashion, as that's a legit way of fashion and 1 of the purposes where these tail keychains are designed for (wearing at side, bags and handbags usually)

Haha I wear it there to kind of stay away from the bullying if I wear it in public/at school. After all, then it's just fashion and they can't really make me something. (ofcourse they can, but they're a lot less easy to do so as it's more the standard/normal) I also wear it on my side to keep it safe. A tail on your butt often gets out of your own sight, so it's easy for bullies or such to pull and break it. Wearing it at my side, means I can always easily see my tail and that prevents tail pulling or damage to happen. I also simply wear it at my side if I don't have an easy way to clip it on my back haha.

I wear my tail at recess and today we had inside recess my teacher said that she wants me to stop bringing it. It wasnt doing anything and it wasnt bothering anyone i just think she thinks its weird and it hurt me so i plan to get a hoodie with a therian symbol on it
Honestly, the teacher can't forbid you. The only one who is allowed to forbid you is either the official school rules (which usually can be found in some kind of book/paper u get when joining the school) or by the head of the school. So if your teacher tells you to stop bringing it, you're not Needed to stop bringing it. To avoid any trouble however I recommand you to walk by the head of the school and ask them if you're allowed to. If they say yes: just tell your teacher they said yes next time you see them. Remember they aren't legally allowed to prevent you to wear anything/do anything that isn't officially forbidden. It's even counted as discrimination in this case unless a student has complained to her about it.

I'm having trouble finding a genuine gray wolf tail that died from natural causes or a humane way. I've found fox tails easily which is good since Im also a red fox therian but the gray wolf tail I'm having trouble with, I tried Etsy but still no luck, help? :(
well glacierwear and moscow hide and fur sell control hunted wolfs and I know oakenfoxshoppe on etsy sometimes sells coywolf tails (hunt). Wyldertaxidermy (on etsy and instagram) VERY rarely has wolftails. But wolftails are just overall hard to find and always expensive :/

about your question, I'm unsure weither or not you're a therian. You state quiet a few animalistic experiences (hiding, growling, wanting to state,..) which are all possible therianthropic shifting (mental shift, mindset). But these could also be tied to play-pretend and other teenage experiences. If you want to figure out weither or not you are a therian I advice to hold a therian journal and write down any possible therianthropic experiences (animalistic experiences). If you have these and feel as if you're an animal you are a therian. The animal you feel you are is not called a 'spirit animal' by the way, it's called a theriotype. It's basicly who you are. A spiritguide is a seperated animal you see in dreams and meditations that talks to you.
