Whatever happened with the stalker recall?
Just heard the comment about terra invicta - steer clear dude. It's a game that has a TON of promise and while you are starting off it feels like it will be so amazing. Then once you are deep into it, you find out how flawed and sucky it is. A ton of cool elements that are just put together incredibly poorly.
On a related subject, I also on the Civ V is great, Civ 6 is kinda boring (it also seems cool when you start it thought).
Finally, I to would like thank you for all the casts! You're almost the only one I enjoy watching and got me to restart StarCraft again for a bit. You rock!
The big hot rivalry used to be Clem and Reynor. Now it's Clem and Maxpax! (Still love watching Reynor though. ❤)

Finally Max stopped going for trash disruptors and went for the true power unit of PvT, the High Templar.
I feel like Maxpax could def mix in some more sentries for guardian shields during big fights. Except they become useless with emp and too costly to produce on top of high templars i guess

oracles that tags terrans army and stasis warding their 3rd expansion is a pita for terran to deal with.

I mean it’s kinda pathetic but the PVT meta almost requires Storm for Protoss to be sustainable through mid-late game. It’s like Protoss stimpack, except it costs wayyyyyy more resources overall
best aoe spell in the game is not pathetic
Dude, they also have very viable Colossi and Disruptors. ALL the races have to go splash damage in the mid- to late-game regardless of the matchup. The only major exception is Zerg, but even they eventually go Lurkers.

@@Lost7one They barely make any Banelings in ZvZ. It's just to stop the mass Ling from taking over, and Ravagers do not provide splash damage.

I didn't realize terran goes majority ghosts in late game vs Protoss?
In g1 why did maxpax go +2 attack before armour? I thought the general rule is always armour upg vs Terran
I assume it's because he was on a lot of stalkers and wanted to go colossus. Both of those units don't benefit from armour anywhere near as much as attack upgrades. If you're going for heavy zealot play, or if you go disruptors or storm instead of colossi as splash then armour gets more valuable.
Also, units that get two attacks (zealots, stalkers, colossus) have their dps massively increased from attack upgrades. The reason why armor tends to be so good is because marines, marauders, tanks, etc. have only a single attack, while ghosts emp their shields so it’s their only form of tankiness.

But he seems to have done it in every game of the series anyway so maybe he just values the + attack upg over the armour

Game 1 MinPax loses all his disruptors twice due to shitty army positioning, lost the 2 prisms and dark templar for no damage, was 12k resources down, and Clem still has a hard time closing the game. Protoss players lose games because they're garbage at this game.
Storm + Colossus GG
Stargate (oracle/vr) -> leg enhancement -> Templar archives -> blink -> storm and into collosus once terran overcommits on ghost. If collos get rekt, transition to disrutptor and switch between storm/collo/disruptors.
