This game has so much potential, I think they should make look have more value somehow. From what I’ve seen it seems pretty easy to kit back up. Love the content, keep up the good work!
@@xan_thraxthey fixed most of that for the beta they’ll be releasing. The ballistics and holes that the bullet made into the characters were buggy in the pre alpha testing but they said they have addressed that. So it shouldn’t be much a of a problem come public beta release
They should consider adding the team/squad feature from Arma. Walk up to a player hold a button a team menu pops up. Add the player to the team, assign place and color, and choose if you want a nameplate or just a dot. So when a player is added to your team, you just tap Alt (or assigned button), and the colored nameplate/dot shows for a second or 2.
what's actually super cool is that you could see the guy who killed you in the top left just by noticing what bushes were moving when they were shooting. You could see that the bullets were hitting the top of the bush then the tree infront so you can tell the angle that he's firing from. Take another look at @14:59
1:35 guy is in a coma after eating at least fifteen 5.56mm and seventeen 9mm rounds in a CQB situation XD this game needs a better damage model, considering the realistic ballistic model that it boasts to posses :p
I do agree but also he's most likely wearing grade 4 armor which there has been plenty of tests that show it will stop multiple mags of ak 47 ammunition. Most of his shots he hit were in the plate and only a few actually penetrated.
@@zeeksy6276 no armor is surving that 5.56 barrage from that range. :P even if by some black magic no rounds would penetrate your body, you would die from shock. but its a game... and if they are shooting for superrealistic stuff i think it should have wayyy higher TTK cus otherwise if feels super spongy, which sucks for these types of games.
Shots 1-5: Clearly missed. Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control). Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses. Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because Hiko was already dead. To be fair I don't know for sure the ammo type that Stod had loaded in his mags, the only ammo I can see in his inventory says "SP 5.56" -which I'm assuming stands for soft point. Which in that case wouldn't be the best choice for armor penetration... And like you said maybe the armor could survive that but your ribs probably won't. I'd like to see a better blunt force transfer system, although its probably not going to be realistic either way (somehow setting your ribs back in place with some combat gauze) because you could probably just staple your lungs back into place after getting them blown out by a 9mm...
Looks incredibly tense. Definitely needs some work, but promising for sure. What is putting me off for the time being, aside from the spawns & friendly recognition issues, is that every video I see everyone is just using an M4/ MK18 variant. Not sure if it's the meta, if there's just not much choice, or just that most new weapons kinda look like that these days but I'd like to see a bit more variety.
There's only 8 total weapons which is why you see everyone running the same thing. Imo I'd rather the core of the game be good, they can always add more weapons.

How does the loot/ai respawn work if the server never “shuts down”? I can see it becoming boring following another player 10min behind him and never finding anything good
Just went to hunting grounds, killed a guy, and he was screaming his lungs off at me xD I love this game already, it was weird tho coz that would mean he was in the COMA state, which he can opt out of, but as long as he doesnt he can talk etc, but I cannot loot him. So meanwhile he could ask his mates to come in and swoop me. Wish they would add the loot option on enemies that are in coma.
I feel like they should just make it to where you can see your allies on the mini map and regular map, that way it helps reduce the risk of killing your own
I quite like how Incursion Red River handle things. If you want to confirm its a team mate, you put your weapon on safe, pull out the tablet, and it will show their position on the map.
Do you also like the 3 missions it has to offer? An the fact you have to pay money to sit around and wait for the possibility of more. But because it's in EA they can just say eh nvm were done.

Not everything needs to be ported to console. It would have to be kbm enabled like dayz. The controller keybinds alone for inventory managwouod be brutal. Just like dayz and pubg. Also leaning mechanics. If it came to console, it would get ruined by COD casuals who won't play it like PC players. It would what 60fps at most 💀
I think a decent outline or something on teammates and squaddies would make the game so much more fun. At the end of the day it is just a video game and imo people are way too busy finding out who is who in gunfights instead of enjoying the fight having fun.
Can't they just make some little circle radar so you can see your teammate as a dot, at least you could see the direction you are looking, that there is Green or blue dot in that direction, then you would check the map if that far is him, or enemy that you are looking at. The respawning (Heli landing) should be randomized more, to evade those Heli campers.
Still confused on PvP and teammates. Can teammates kill you? If everyone on map is blue who good or bad or if everyone but your spawn folks are bad? Solo is going to be tough if that’s the case.
@@enasnI99 agreed, but getting hit in the chest with body armor on will only break a few ribs depending on the caliber. If your amped up on adrenaline, you might be able to get back in the fight.
The way the characters hold the guns in this game looks fucking goofy. Combat looks silly too. Very very janky and mid looking tbh. Shocked for a game that is trying to sell $100 supporter packs in early access day one.
The main thing I am concerned about is..wow that's a lot of P2W gear for cash which coming off the Tarkov bullshit really is not a good look And second is the concern that can I or can't I upgrade my ingame stash/locker with just ingame progression or is that locked behind a bloody paywall?

It’s necessary from a balance perspective. COD and games like it aren’t going for realism. Some player in camping a random rooftop or hill or window amongst hundreds of possible locations would basically make it so they could snipe with impunity. No one would be able to find them just from audio of the shots and it would be even more annoying than it is now. Ppl complain about stuff like scope glint but then they add a medium scope with no glint and suddenly twitter is on fire with ppl crying about it saying it’s unfair and they hate getting sniped with no counter play.
Game looks good, but still needs a year, or two to cook.. also its way too easy to come back , and get gear or acquire gear there has to be a penalty ,or fear to not die.and gear /guns should be precious or this will turn into COD real quick
The game looks super promising thanks to UE5, finally we have the technology to not be instantly spotted beyond 50 meters because the foliage stopped rendering etc... I really hope they listen to the community and make this a great game, eg. add colored arm/helmet bands and the identification problem is solved realistically. I'm slightly miffed at the announced pricing etc... the supporter edition is same gdamn P2W that EoD was. And no, anyone that argues that having more than twice as big of a butt and stash storages to stick junk into is just QoL is delusional. Having bunch more guns etc. at the start and some cosmetics swag etc. I'm fine with but unless the larger stash and butt storage can be earned in game without massive grind then it's blatant P2W.

Absolutely not! Not on my server(s) that I play on. My fellow Marines and Army are always engaged in 2 hour battles as a fireteam of 3 if not 4 fighting players. 😂

This kind of NBA game is a bit disappointing. It focuses on realism but has strong jumping ability, as well as the super ability to shake left and right on rough terrain without turning and stopping.
My big complaint would be the complete lack of visual indicators in a fight. Too hard to tell your bullets are even connecting. There's basically no reactions. No indicative animation or hit markers or anything.

Yeah this might be “too hardcore” for most people and it will probably not be very popular if it stays this way..If you want widespread adoption you should appeal to casual players as well.. And i think you can see it in the streaming numbers, interest isn’t as high as when you’re streaming DMZ or whatever…It looks amazing and it could be fun, but the barrier to entry might be a little too high even for me..
DMZ is unfortunately dead. CoD appeals to arcade type shooter players and DMZ is a mix of looter shooters and that arcade style that CoD players love but with CoD no longer supporting it, cheaters have taken over. GZW is more grounded and realistic. Also the reason the "streaming numbers" aren't high is because they only opened it up to streamers that reached out/applied to play it early to help promote it.
Imagine cheating with a floaty aimkey for years yet still being this mid by 2024 standars 😂. I hope you get featured on call of shame in the future. Would be nice to see your excuse.
I think the gun play is weird because the devs intended it to be pve only and probably through together a pvp last minute. I bet the fast ttk with zero reaction time would get old quick.
It all looks worse than Tarkov, even shooting looks like shit. Horrible bushes everywhere, throwing people into the raid like in Cycle. How to look for dead bodies in these fields with bushes? You have to put a lot of bullets to kill like they're playing airsoft instead of real action.

People will tk you and loot you anyways. Squading with randos are always a gamble in these games.

In the alpha test these weapons were the most prominent available from the traders.
They said that with EA release there will be “8 highly customisable weapons with 400 interchangeable parts”

Needs a base building and survival aspect. It probably be a pretty good game.

There is friendly fire. Other players in your faction are blue, players in your squad are green and enemy players do not show up on map
Warfare is lethal and you don't just pop up after getting shot. This is much like TR (tactical realism).

In pve people are killing you and taking your gear
All the veg makes it a tarkov campers paradise. Game is fun but pvp camping is a for sure aspect

Yeah this might be “too hardcore” for most people and it will probably not be very popular if it stays this way..If you want widespread adoption you should appeal to casual players as well..
And i think you can see it in the streaming numbers, interest isn’t as high as when you’re streaming DMZ or whatever…It looks amazing and it could be fun, but the barrier to entry might be a little too high even for me..
DMZ is unfortunately dead. CoD appeals to arcade type shooter players and DMZ is a mix of looter shooters and that arcade style that CoD players love but with CoD no longer supporting it, cheaters have taken over. GZW is more grounded and realistic. Also the reason the "streaming numbers" aren't high is because they only opened it up to streamers that reached out/applied to play it early to help promote it.
They opened up the game to like 200 people 🤣💀

I think the gun play is weird because the devs intended it to be pve only and probably through together a pvp last minute. I bet the fast ttk with zero reaction time would get old quick.

It all looks worse than Tarkov, even shooting looks like shit. Horrible bushes everywhere, throwing people into the raid like in Cycle. How to look for dead bodies in these fields with bushes? You have to put a lot of bullets to kill like they're playing airsoft instead of real action.
