Hello ma am a beginners and my madam is yet to sow 6 pieces. My question is after joining the skirt will you add band also like normal skirt b4 adding the zip or just go ahead and hem the waist mouth since you didnt minus the band from the full length measurement

My band is usually 1.5”
So I usually don’t minus it
I will still add my band
You can hem if you want
