You can always tell the difference between those who love what they do and those who just have a job. It's obvious that all of you love what you do because you all have turned it into an art. I'm not a professional fabricator but I do fabricate and you all are in inspiration and set a standard that I aim for. Sometimes I hit that standard, but it takes a lot of thought, effort, and multiple attempts in most cases. The payoff though is always a rush....
Thanks so much for that! And we don't always hit it 100% on the mark on the first go either. The important part is taking the time to go back and do it right! Thanks for watching and we really appreciate the support!
Great build, brings back many memories. WOW. I built a twin turbo, big block, 67 - SS Chevelle. Back then 1976, it was hooker header plates, steel tubing and a lot of, wish we had more room! It was the seventies, fuel injection?? Not. It was a draw through system, and fancy was, did you want to zinc or chrome things? 🤔 Don't get me wrong, tons of power, just not by today's standards, still it was fun. 😛 Thanks again.✌🏻🔑, 👍👌👋🏻❄ 🥶 🇨🇦 👨🦽 😎.
That's the cool thing about hot rodding though! You get to see people using the same muscle car bodies, but trying to stuff crazier and crazier stuff into the engine bay! Hope we could fuel some of those nostalgic memories with this build!
Tim, thanks for the update! You are getting this build moving forward, now if the UPS folks would be more careful! The build could be built much quicker! Awesome content!
It's coming along great. Some old school Chevelle or Chevrolet script on the valve covers would look great with the old-school meets modern setup of the car. Also don't forget to pressure check radiator and intercooler after yall weld it all up.
Glad to hear it! We love it when you can take something away from the videos. If you have a build of your own, tag us on your progress on instagram. We'd love to see it!
Hawt diggity damn! Looking good gentlemen. I think the dual core would look sick. Too bad about those electronic motors, what if you built a cover that went over both and hid the motors but was still proportional from side to side?
DUDE!! you guys are awesome.. THAT car is going to be sick. I love the turbos and the intake is nasty. he`s a great welder and fab man. but, I love learning about the projects and seeing your work flow. I'm not the best welder in the world, I mostly work on cars that come off I4 and Tampa area cars if you know what I mean. but I'm learning. I really have so much respect for you guys and your shop. liked and subbed!
Thanks so much for the love! And fabrication is always a learning experience. With every project we figure out a way to do something better or more efficient. Hopefully we'll see you out at a show one day!
I've never heard of titanium making a different sound than stainless steel exhaust. Usually the sounds is determined by the firing order if it sounds exotic or a muscle car sound. Muscle cars fire 2 cylinders per side making the pulse sound and exotics have a balance firing on each side giving them that screaming sound.
Firing order will change the lope creating sort of a different "beat" but the material you use can definitely change the pitch of your exhaust note, similar to how changing the exhaust diameter can change the tone.
@@SalvagetoSavage Never thought about different material but it definitely makes sense since different materials can affect resonance frequencies in structures.
Ask f.e. Borla about that. Diameter, material type, routing, crossover, x-pipe, y-pipe, muffler design, tip design - all of those influence the sound. It's actually a science of flow & resonance... 😇✌️
Jesus christ, there is one thing that makes me really savage is when delivery companies are disrespectful of your items in transit. Two OEM intercoolers for a Subaru STI were delivered to our workshop over here (the second was a replacement) and in both cases they sustained the same damage. They were both dropped on their ends (the drop in one case was recorded on CCTV) and the cores were completely useless. $1500 insurance claim and delays in delivery to the customer. The boss was furious and "ripped the delivery guy a new ass" and rightly so. Tired of that shit.
It's becoming a "well it's not my package so I don't really care" attitude. Most of the times a small drop doesn't do much. But these intercoolers are pretty fragile, even for being made completely of metal.
