@@SalvagetoSavage Talk about a premo fabricator! Pro-fes-ion-al no doubt about it. That said it takes more than just skill to create pieces like this, you need an artist who can visualize all the working pieces to a finished product and Tim, I gotta say you've got that touch. You know your work is fire 🔥 when it looks CNC'd!!!
We're just trying to make it to SEMA this year with something that's ready to rip a burnout! But we'll definitely look into it. Thanks so much for the support. It really means a lot!
@@SalvagetoSavage its going to be a beast. The level of detail yall do is perfect and I love that you guys actually show the fabrication process unlike alot of channels
Man, S2S' fabrication skills are on point. I am curious about the flow dynamics of the system given that it was all designed ad-hoc. Given that it's an intercooler vs an intake, it's probably far less important. Masterful job!
Even though Tim is designing as he goes, a lot of what he does comes from his experience building high performance drift cars! There's an art and a science behind everything he does!
Such clean work as always guys! Tim never disappoints when if comes to fab work and welding! Any time he does anything, he knocks it out of the park! Keep up the awesome work 👍👍
Can I ask what would a budget need to be for a client thinking about building a classic at the level you are building the Chevelle? From start to finish.
BTW is the custom fabrication thing ever gets boring (which I doubt it will) you should seriously think about teaching. Your ability to communicate complex tasks to a simpleton like me is impressive.
We're thinking about maybe doing some online classes in the future diving deeper into more specific fab techniques. Is there anything you'd like to see us cover?
Just one more thing. Why not use your very ,unique talented and beautiful fabrication skills and give us a bit more of it...? Please make the videos a bit longer so we can enjoy watching it..I sometimes spend half an hour watching crap and always wish that there is some one out there doing it better so HALLOO !! You are doing it better. Make them longer...⌚ Thanx..
I've noticed all of your videos the camera is either dirty or picks up the lights really bad. It kinda brings down the quality. I think the beast work you guys are putting in deserves to be shown better.
It's MIG splatter and damage to the lenses from grinding metal so close to the screen. Check out the merch link in our bio. The soft good sales help support the media creation for the channel!
Timmy is a f’n god with metal fabrication. I am beyond amazed every time with all the fabrication skills u guys have.
Thanks so much! He really blows us away every time he welds something up!

Good explanation about how one big chamber would cause turbulence when using two turbos, I never thought if that! Thanks Tim!
No problem! Glad we could help!!
Craftsmanship proud to put your name on. Well done!
Thank you!
With all of the amazing fabrication, that intercooler is now a $2k part.
Y'all's example of the cardboard to metal method was spot on filled with good information! Killin it as usual
Thank you! Hope it can help a little with whatever projects you're working on

@@SalvagetoSavage the force is with him. I've seen a lot of fabricators and he is up there with the best of them for sure.
Tim is such an asset to your team. He can visualize things before they happen and has the skill to make it happen. Hold on to him, he is a rare find!

Thanks!

Thanks for the love Chris! Glad you like the build!
You're a hell of a craftsman sir!
Everybody knows that: C.A.D. stands for "Cardboard Aided Design"... 😁😇✌️
Really nice work there Tim.
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Very cool build, Tim ! Thanks for your explanation of your reasoning to placement of the turbos and the intercooler assembly.
Hope it helps if you decide to put together some twin turbo monster!
With those metal fabrication skills, please tell me that you are going to do a custom grill as well.
A1 man honestly, if no one told you I’m proud of your work man. That’s some serious pressure
That means a ton to us! Thanks for all the support. It really keeps us motivated to keep pushing on these projects!
Great work Tim! I love the look of the end tank once you smooth all of the welds. What grit paper are you using on the da?
Thank you! We step up from around an 80 grit and finish off with anywhere between a 220 and 400 grit!
@Salvage to Savage thanks for the replying, I really appreciate it!
Pretty amazing, to see something like this being made..... Outstanding job sir. 👍👍👍👍👍😎💯
Thank you very much!
Nicely done there Tim. You guys are artists👌
Thank you so much!

Beautiful job
Thank you! 😊
Are those solid motor mounts? Are you worried about the engine moving in relation to the intercooler and cracking pipage?
They are solid motor mounts. The HD clamps that we use from vibrant have movement in them to account for that!
@@SalvagetoSavage Ahh... Thanks for the reply and keep up the good work my man. 😎👍
Amazing work ! Looks unreal 😎. She’s going to look killer
We're so excited to see this thing ripping!
Great video and fabrication, what do you mean when you say "cold weld?"
Cold weld refers to a beauty weld that's more for looks than it is structural integrity!
Great work 👍👍
Thank you so much 😀
great team you guys got goin. cant wait to see one of your guy's big project "done" cause no build is ever done :D
We should have that twin Tesla swapped C10 on the track real soon!

It's hard to say because we spent some time waiting for that new intercooler to show up. But definitely a few solid days worth of work!

It's never too late to start!
Making the intake pipes before the intercooler means that form comes after function. Maybe that’s why this looks a little agricultural now?
