This is what hope sounds like to me.
I mean, I know it sounds pretty corny but I'm a kid from the 90's in Brazil where we grew up with no cellphone or internet connection, and even though I'm here in 2019 watching this masterpiece, I'm still totally amazed about how I get to know such an amazing artist like Corby. I'm literally on the other side of the world (Brazil, taking Australia as reference) and still moved with this song. Feels like half of this views was mine. I know, nostalgic and corny, but I guess music is indeed the universal language.
I don't think Matt's gonna see this but if he does so, know that one of your dreams (you talked about that in the rainbow valley's documentary) was to touch someone with your music. Well, safe to say you achieved this goal. You are amazing, keep up the good work.

First song I heard was a live version of his song called brother. Think he played it at a radio station or something? The ending was so freaking intense. I was not prepared for that, and it was so amazing cause I don't think I connected with another musician like that in a long time

Zane RS honestly his voice is a bit mad, I think he’s classically trained so it makes sense but the volume alone he gets out of his voice is nuts. Was so cool hearing it in the eaves(or whatever they’re called) towards the side of the building with the natural reverb. Such a good venue for this kind of style of artist if you get the chance to go it’s worth it

I saw the notification ... I shortly took a exciting breathe and calm down. I followed my usual afternoon, got home after hard day of work, take a shower, put the cat food in the bowl, prepare the coffee and sit in my desktop. Fresh, comfortable and enjoying the hot latte, I adjust the volume to 80% and press play... Thank you Matt :')

I have been in love with Matt Corby for quite a few years and being in the US not many people have heard of him. I still influence as many people as I can to listen to him and listen to him. Some people have fallen almost as deeply for him and his music than I have. I wish so many major people knew about him. He deserves so much!

You would think that after months of having this song on repeat that it wouldn't be as good as it was when you first heard it, but the more you listen to it the better it gets.

I went to Matt Corby's Rainbow Valley tour concert - it was transformative to say the least. If you ever get the chance to experience this mans gift in real time, you will not regret it. Such pure ego-less talent. One of my highlights of the year so far. I was able to get very front row, and stare into this mans angelic face for a good hour. The soul and passion is unreal. Such a delight.

I wish I had the vocabulary to adequately describe how amazing I think Matt Corby is as an artist. I ignored his music for many years, hearing the same studio version of Brother pound the mainstream radio stations. I caught a video of him singing Chains on Like a Version, and ever since then... he is simply born to be a musician. I’m so pleased I stumbled across that video and pushed all of my doubts to the side. I’m a lifelong fan.

I have such a conflicting feeling.... Apart of me gets such a warm feeling inside me knowing that he is still not popular, that i can still enjoy his music in the smallness of his fan community. I love the fact that his music is just that... pure, raw music that touches every inch of your soul... But another part of me knows he deserves so much recognition for his talents. This song alone deserves hundreds of awards. Brilliant man.
