I rip the plastic hardware off like the twistys. They dont grip enough, and you can use any scew compatible with a tuning key to tight it enough to not budge. Other than that, I'm still having issues with balancing the two pedals evenly. Then again, im no professional, so it could be a me isse
Hey i have seen a couple of outher drummers do this but you should try make your own snare drum ive done it, its fun and easy all you need to do is order the parts and build it.

You really can't go fast can you... I personally hate Axis pedals, they're just crap and overpriced. But anyone genuinely interested in these pedals or anything Axis for that matter, do not listen to ANYTHING in this video. 1. He's just talking the pedal up to sell it (it's obvious he's just selling them for the store) 2. He can't play fast whatsoever (and these pedals are designed for speed in heavy music) 3. The pedals just look weak, anything else would be better. DW Machine Direct, Trick Pro 1-V or even just some Mapex Falcons (the Falcon is probably the best pedal on the market) or DW9000 with direct drives equipped. Hell even Speed Cobras
+iDrumGod Lol are you new to drums? Axis pedals are THE original direct drive pedals, made out of aircraft grade aluminium. Then all the other manufacturers started using the same design when Axis became king in the metal drummer community. Mine are 11 years old. Probs older than you.
I agree kinda idrumgod. A tried these and they felt awful to me on just whatever the stock settings are. I think the whole direct drive hype may be over rated. They feel overly sensitive to me and like they are ahead of my foot always and in turn I had to work harder. I like the falcolns and the new 2016 speed Cobras. Also the new highest end Yamaha pedals, I think the 9500 series.
