I had a green model which I bought in the early 70's when I was in my early teens. It was still going strong the last time I saw it in the early 200's, I wish I still had it. Interesting review.
Agree, 100%. The larger old one does make leg work a little easier but being able to change the springs really makes the new one shine. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Great video. I use the old X5 version regularly and agree it's very good. I like the new X5 Pro with it's shorter length and interchangeable springs. Subscribed, thank you
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! You will be amazed at how quickly you get stronger doing isometrics. Stick around for a lot more videos on the topic.
Great video! I don't have the new Bullworker Pro you show here, but do have a Tensolator bullworker, BW2, BW3, X5 from England, X5 Gold from Japan, ISO 7X, and the Bow Classic. Great items all!. I use them mainly for isometrics, but have done some isotonics, especially with the X5. I like the X5 Gold best due to it's resistance and smoothness. The bigger ones have the range I want as I am 6 ft 1 with long arms and legs. The current company here in North America selling the Bullworker cannot make or sell the 3 tube x5 because it is still sold by the original owner holding the patent, the Koelbel family. They make an x5, but do not ship to the US. Maybe someone can find a proxy service to obtain one from them.
I had the original late 70s version, then the 80s X5. When I focused more on weight training, I sold both. I regret selling the X5, the wife chided me when I bought a more recent Bow Basic model. Would you recommend the new X5 over the regular one? Thanks again. (Ps, thanks for the iron-on sticker too).
We appreciate you, thank you for sharing and Keep Charging!

They were definitely built to last!
@@retirementreboot Supposedly there is a study that indicates isometrics helps improve blood pressure over other forms of exercise. Whodathunkit?
That’s actually a topic I plan to cover on a future video!
They are both great Bullworkers. I use the old X5 for my abs and legs, the X5 Pro i use for the upper body.

Next model on my list to get. I have the steel bow and the Classic. Love them all.
If you want to save some money now is the time to get one because they’re on sale for the month of November!
Great video with a no nonsense review. I'm getting to grips with my Iso Bow which is a great tool for excercise.
They make quality items that are really effective!

@ Excellent! Bought the Iso-bow which is just two handles attached with some cable must say very impressed
The Iso Bow is great. You can get a great workout with it.
Great video!

I would love to get my hands on one of those German X5’s. As you can probably tell, I’m obsessed with my Bullworkers!
It would be nice to have some type of window or indicator to tell which spring is in it.
That’s a really good idea!

The replaceable springs on the new X5 are a game changer and at this point I think it’s a better model. Having said that, I’m glad I have both.
