what i love about the original ghost rider is he is obviously trying to make it to his destination alive, he doesn't just blindly cut and swerve between cars like a lot of the wannabes and psychos do. this isnt safe by any means but this riding looks borderline responsible compared to some of the videos out these days (often ending in them hitting the back of a truck or a median)

You can do it on some Autobahn in Germany (learn the signs before you try). Though the traffic is usually so dense you have to choose a late a night time when the Autobahn is empty. Was different 'round the year 2000.

Can happen in Germany, though 300 km/h is rare here. But 220 km/h + can happen quite often here, and I do drive that speed sometimes when driving one of the better company cars. When you see a car in the rear mirror and you are not from Germany, i.e. used to estimate such speeds by looking into the rear mirror, it looks "far away" and "right on your tail" within a blink of your eye. Though not that often any more since the amount of cars has gone up so rapidly in the last 25 years... 5x is my estimate. So nowadays it is rare to go beyond 200 since there are so many cars - it moved danger margin for reaction time a lot.

Engines aren't as fragile as you think, especially motorcycle engines. High RPM doesn't kill engines, it's usually the effects of different metals heating and cooling at different speeds.
Suzuki. Make sure there is enough oil and coolant b4 you start. Just joking. I've been driving my Alfa Romeo 145 for 19 years now, 7000 max rev, never a problem.

I concentrated the deshaker on the panel in the lower part of the video, so that is stable. If you look at 0:17 you can see how much the video actually shaked, in the original video that numbers are stable and the video is shaking instead of the numbers. Something similar is at 1:16, when it shows the back camera in the upper right. In the original video that frame is stable and the whole rest is shaking.
Out of the millions of motorbikes on the road this guy is truly one of a handful that actually rides the bike to its full potential on the freaking road!

Well, the source of this is DVD, so the source picture has a good quality. The ususal youtube source in such a small resolution doesn't have good quality, making it more difficult or impossible to deshake. I deshake older movies which are on blu-ray- There are often those tiny shakes by a half and two pixels due to the way analogue movies work. Andromeda Strain (the original www.imdb.com/title/tt0066769 ) and The Name Of The Rose (Again the original www.imdb.com/title/tt0091605 ) are the last deshaked examples - which I cannot publish anywhere for obvious reasons ; ). When it come to 4k: Those are usually well pre-deshaked.

I didn't add it. The "shaking videobox" are not saking in the original, but deshaking to the bike and the street is stable means the box will have to suffer. I could do a partial deshake to keep the boxes stable, but that is so much work..

You could, in Germany. Legally. During the first lockdown the Autobahns were quite empty. A drive from my home to Frankfurt usually took about 2h45m, and with bad luck much longer. I made the same in 2h10m with 160 km/h max (I don't like to drive much faster with the car I usually drive). I was at 1h50 with a car that goes beyond 200 km/h. Tough I have to note: Not ignoring the speed limit parts on that drive, I want to keep my drivers license. If you ignore all speed limits it would have been doable in less than an hour. As for now: Well no way, too much traffic.

That's the gauge limit. You can see 299 on the gauge for several seconds, but your can hear and see the motor rpm still going higher. So he must be around 315 to 320 km/h top.

@@jnh8381 It is not the resolution, it is the bitrate and blockyness. DVD has either 640x480 (US-NTSC) or 720x572 (EU-PAL).
Use what bike riding protective equipment. Use Rippl protective gear. Use Rippl spine shield.
