I spent a fantastic week in Snowdonia last year. Rode for 6 days in a row, 3 or 4 of them at Coed Y Brenin doing all the different trails. It was so tough but possibly the best week of my life!
Really enjoyed this video, it looks amazing. Chain issues are so annoying! Going to do the Dragons Back in about a month, I'm not quite up to this one but hope to be soon.
Hey man, thanks. Check out the video I made about fitting a dropper on my Bizango. The size is in the description too (which I think is 120mm of the top of my head). Here is the link: th-cam.com/video/ge4bxxsHFmQ/w-d-xo.html soon I will be releasing a vid about all the upgrades that I have made/ want to make
Really enjoying all your content! Would love to see some reviews/opinions on tires and recommendations for replacing your Voodoo tires when the time comes.
Thanks Elliot. You will be happy to hear that I have a conversation about tires planned for a video about bizango upgrades (in the not too distant future). Watch this space :)
probably better to look online at reviews of tires. If you want to ride enduro you should look at maxxis minion dhr 2. I personally use Michelin enduro tires on my Specialized and they are very good too.
Just come back from a week in North Wales, got a series of videos for the trip including CYB (MBR, minotaur) plus Gwydir Mawr and Penmachno. CYB is ace! . I was intrigued you started by not going under the massive comedy forks though? Did you miss out the Cain, Abel etc sections? You start at false teeth with is part way around. Anyway great trail, great VO. Subbed!
Wow that sounds like an amazing trip! Yeah we rode all the sections on MBR. All the early sections (cain & Abel etc) were amazing. I really enjoyed the rock drops and tabletops. My footage from those sections was so wet the camera lens was covered. It made the footage difficult to watch. I was so disappointed when I got home and watched it back (I still am 😭).
It looks alot of fun - would you have been comfortable riding it on a hard tail? I've a bizango as well and I've ways shied away from going in case it's a nightmare with no rear suspension....
On the MBR I was glad to have a full suspension. I love riding my hardtail, but I think some of the sections would be a bit too much of a challenge, and no where near as comfortable.
It has some advanced sections so I wouldn’t recommend it for beginners. I would aim for something like The Minotaur trail instead. It is a bit more fun and flowing.
My favorite trail centre! Despite the wet weather, it looked like you aced it! Fantastic footage as always :)
It is easy to see why. Its an amazing place to ride!

That sounds epic! Nice work.
Only ridden there once and it was a challenge. Great one gutted about your chain issues ☝️keep the good work .
Thanks! Yeah the chain was a downer, but the trails were so good my mechanical issues were easy to forget about.
Bike and Beyond 🔥🤘🔥
What a place! I'm located to the west of Nottingham and there are virtually no decent bike parks within a reasonable distance - excellent video!
Yeah it is an amazing place. I hope you manage to get to the trails soon!
Surprised this was your first ever visit. Great video as usual
I know. Its shameful really, especially because we used to live so close.
You give a great feel for the place. Must get there one day.
It is definitely worth a visit!

Dragons back is a fun trail. Have a great ride👍🏻
My first proper road trip was to Snowdonia back in 2017 and we stopped off here and rented some bikes, was one of the best things I done!
Yeah there are some amazing trails!
Coed y brenin is my local and I also ride a cube stereo 150 sl race. Funny you don't see many people riding this bike and they are awesome.
Yeah I completely agree. it is a really awesome bike!
Is there anything on MBR you can't roll over or avoid? I.e large drops etc?
Very good vid 👍. I am interested in what drop and dropper post you have on your bizango because I'm not sure what size to get

@@bikeandbeyond so annoying when that happens. Just have to go again 👍
*Bike and Beyond* Perfect as always. Have a superior day :p
Thanks, Have a good one yourself :)
Great riding and footage Mate.

Nice trails 🙂👍🏻
Awesome 👌 bemlar cracks me up 🤣
Haha, yeah his 'chocolate bar advertisement voice' was pretty good. He might even get some voice over work once Seven Spielberg watches this vid! haha
Is this the Beginner trail? I’m going on sunday
It has some advanced sections so I wouldn’t recommend it for beginners. I would aim for something like The Minotaur trail instead. It is a bit more fun and flowing.
Looks great. Is black the hardest on terms of skill level?
Certainly the hardest we rode on the day. There could be some double black diamonds kicking about somewhere at Coed Y Brenin.
yeah! 👍
Ik this is Irrelevant to any1 but this translates to the kings woods
Nice pronunciation 😂😉
