Rogue suggestion but a high quality music stand. Even for beginners I think it's a good investment, as it's just so much more enjoyable to play when you aren't fiddling with the foldable ones that feel like they're going to collapse every bar :')
As you get older, those thumb ports seem like a really good idea…especially if you have tendinitis like I do….im going to order one for my right hand. I also wondered about leaving my flute out without taking it apart. Makes me more apt to practice. I mean I’m only an amateur …so if I have that long cleaning wand, I think I’m more apt to practic and leave my flute out
I too have lost count of how many polishing and cleaning cloths I have. I love the Beaumont ones and just got one of the ones from Flute Center and am loving it too!
Especially for those with Hitchhikers thumb, the thumb port is amazing!! I can’t play more that 10 mins without my thumb getting tired because of my weird thumbs
@ So jelly, also do you have any double tongue technique recommendations? I’ve been working on it for a while and I am struggling. I’ve been practicing it phonetically as DUH-GUH or GUH-DUH and then on my flute at 60bpm 16th notes really trying to place each movement and I feel like i’m getting nowhere.
What's the one flute accessory you think every flute player needs? 🎶
definitely a good flute stand
Tuner!
Thumbport
Definitely a flute and piccolo stand

“Condensation” is a nice work for your spit. Lol….also “absorbing water” 😂
I'd love a video on your favorite pieces to play.

They're the best!!
I am hooked on the Beaumont cloths. They’re so pretty
Great vlog!! Thanks so much! Very useful as I’ve started playing and making good progress 👍
I love the combo flute/piccolo cases, two in one case has always been my favorite.
I love my thumb port. I actually bought an extra because I lost one once and once you get used to it it's weird not to play with it. :-)
Ooo that's a good idea to have an extra! I am surprised I haven't lost mine yet lol 🫣
Im gonna send this to my friend who is gonna learn flute for band
i guess among all the accessories mentioned the polishing cloth is the one you don't need to buy and can easily find subs for

I love your videos Katie my flute is actually getting a COA right now LOL
Thanks for watching! Nothing better than a freshly y COAed flute! 😍
I love the darker hair!
Thank you! 💗
Great video! Do you have any recommendations for a sheet music folder? Since some are larger than the standard letter paper size
KTFL doesn't get me free shipping...is it meant to?
Hi! I believe it should get you free shipping on flutes/instruments but not accessories/sheet music.
What Piccolo do you use?
I have a Burkart :)
