Merci beaucoup! I'm sure it could be better (ie roads), but I'm happy with the basics. It also shows that you don't need too much to make it look reasonably good.
I have some 2 mm Norman's and Saxons the rules from a regular miniatures are just okay. I have some 2 mm American Civil War figures coming in sometime soon, again from irregular miniatures.
@@CrustyColonel18 2 and 1/2 + years ago I could say the same about American Civil War and Napoleonics. Oh, there may have been a handful hex encounter games of each subject but I promised myself no miniatures with guns. Then I bought I think Little Wars tombstone toolbox for the o.k corral in 15 mm figures. Got a package of angry armed townsfolk and got two packages of Native Americans to finish painting. And then got 28 mm space mouslings with boarding shotguns n missiles n flamers vs humans n mechs. 56 French late Napoleonic infantry (28 mm) waiting for me to finish my Prussian's (60).
Excellent stuff Sir - other than the French win, naturally ☹️ More please ⚔️⚔️
Lol, French over- powered the meek Austrians there. En avant!
Really love seeing how you set up historical scenarios for this ruleset. An underrated game of a game.
Merci beaucoup!

Another great tiny men report, thanks! And vive l'empereur!
Cheers! I'm glad! you enjoyed it - en avant!
Great to see the smaller scales played out, wonderful batrep as ever sir! Take care, roll well
Many thanks! I do like a bit of 2mm every now and again; it's an under-show-cased scale.
2mm magic.
Yup!

Your tables and figures always look most excellent to me sir. Well played.
Many thanks!
Hey Colonel, im working on a 7 years war ruleset using 2mm miniatures. If you'd like to give it a try, let me know!
Thanks, I'll give you a shout if I need some other rules. Happy with 2x2 atm.
@@CrustyColonel18 yeah 2x2 is actually what got me inspired to write a ruleset. It's a great system
Simple, but effective
Did you write these rules you refer to. If so I would look to take a look at them.
If you are asking about 2x2 Napoleonics, they are free on the internet somewhere. Just Google them. They are written by Rod Humble.

I'd probably play Little Wars TV Age of Hannibal for Saxons vs Normans.
No idea re ACW though, not ventured into that bottomless pit just yet!
