You guys are so AWESOME!! I am totally on the same wavelength as you. I have been cleaning my house with nothing but vinegar and water for years now ... I brush my teeth with just baking soda and peppermint oil, and I started using baking soda and vinegar in my dishwasher and washing machine. It works great ... doesn't leave any chemical residues on my pots, and my clothes come out fresh and soft. I so love your channel. You guys are one of my favorite channels now!! Please keep doing what you are doing ... passing along all of this great, SUPER IMPORTANT information. I've been trying to wake people up for years, but most people are still so asleep. Once you start eating fresh, raw, living food ... and stop all the dead food (and stop watching brainwashing tv) ... you start getting interested in how to improve life in so many other ways (and make it simple). :D P.S. - cut off a piece of fresh aloe vera leaf at night and rub it on your teeth before you go to bed. It helps heal cavities and reduces plaque. Yes, cavities can and do heal themselves. My son and I both have had cavities that healed on their own. Processed/sugary/unnatural food is what causes cavities.
Thanks for the love!!! :) Simple, pure, cheap ingredients...life definitely does get simpler when you clean out the garbage! I like the aloe tip you mentioned! We've got a plant that's been growing like crazy faster than we know what to do with it! We will give that a try!!
Just after posting this video, we discovered that Arm & Hammer is not entirely cruelty-free, and have since then opted for a different brand that is also organic. You can find it on our Amazon Store! amzn.to/2SPCo0E
So cute!!! Oil pulling is amazing. I always tel people coconut oil is for the exterior not for the interior. Basically don’t cook or eat it. But swishing in the mouth is 100 acceptable!
I have used baking soda and vinegar to unclog drains. I first pour in some baking soda then pour vinegar and let it bubble up. When that's done I pour really hot water on that. Most of the time it works, but if it's really bad it doesn't work as well. I also use both to scrub my bath tub and that works very well! Thanks for the info
This was an awesome video. The funny thing is that I make that same toothpaste for my dogs. I never thought about using myself. So now I am going to make some for me to use as well. You may think this is crazy but I use Vinegar and baking soda to clean my drains. my grandmother did so that is what I do. It keeps gnats and other insects away. it also in my experience will keep down the smell. So I heat the vinegar then put a tablespoon of Baking soda in the drains with some a little lemon juice and then I pour the hot vinegar down the drains. That is one what I use those two together and while they do cancel each other out it cleans as it fizzies. I love your channel and have taken done so may great topics. Thank you
LOVE IT! I am a big fan of these products! However, I always believed that using soda and vinegar together is the best and only way - in the drains, it bubbles and cleans all the grime. I was amazed! Also, soda is the BEST skin scrub ever! Vinegar is amazing to rinse your hair if you have oily hair. Love you guys so much! Please keep these house cleaning, organising (storage etc) videos coming! I've learned a lot from you!
Good for you for using vinegar on the floors! One of my coworkers was using wood floor cleaner and it made her cats so Sick she had to take them to the ER.
We typically just sprinkle some baking soda directly on the clothes once we throw them in the laundry and it softens and cleans them up! Or else we will put vinegar in with the detergent to help eliminate odors!
Hi guys, try this diy homemade deodorant. You´ll be amazed, how great it is and how it works. Ingredients: mix 1/4 cup corn starch with 1/4 cup baking soda. Then mix this with 1 cup coconut oil (melted), add 10 drops tea tree oil and 8 drops essencial oil of your choice (I use lavender oil).Love your chanel. Good job.
Nice video!! Thanks for sharing tooth paste recipe I was looking for an alternative and wasn’t sure if I was the only one thinking to use those 2 ingredients now I feel more comfortable. You guys are awesome keep it up!!!! 💗
I plan to try that toothpaste. I have wanted to whiten my teeth, but they are so sensitive. I am wondering if you guys drink coffee or red wine. I hardly drink alcohol but I do drink coffee daily. I would love to have your beautiful teeth! Thanks for all these great natural recipes!!!
Hey Robyn! Definitely give the toothpaste a try! No we do not drink coffee, and rarely red wine (only on special occasions)! Thank you for your continued support of our channel! Much love! :)
I use grants toothpaste no fluoride i have periodontists and my dentist wants me to use fluoride toothpaste but i refuse i will try your recipe and let you know how I go xx
Hi! Loved the video!!! I'm making my own toothpaste too!! :) I'm have almost the same recipe as yours, but I'm adding clay to it. Bentonite clay. And what a coincidence: I started oil pulling 3 days ago!! Hehe! Oh! And, one more thing I do with coconut oil, backing soda and a few other things is homemade deodorant. I also use water and baking soda as shampoo and coconut oil as conditioner. ;) Not so much as skin moisturizer by itself (after a while, my skin started to feel dry again; but I also live in cold weather; Québec, Canada); I add shea and mango butter to it, almond oil and vitamin E (to prevennt it from going bad) and a few drops of vanilla and sandalwood essential oil. :) Have a fun, fruity and sunny Easter!!
Hi Elena! Thanks a bunch for all of the great ideas! Definitely going to try the shampoo and conditioner and experiment with adding some other ingredients to our moisturizer! Do you know the exact amounts you use for the moisturizer?!
Awsome content from both of you like always, would be nice to see an update on this subject (teeth). Your teeth still going strong? : ) No gum, sensitives or other problems with theeth? Thanks again and keep up the good work.
ChiefenLind1793 thanks a bunch!! No teeth sensitivities to speak of! The only thing that has ever given either of us (temporary) problems in the past is Apple cider vinegar!
Yep, just a good 20 minutes of swishing, then spit, and rinse out with water! We usually do oil-pulling first, rinse, brush, and then drink 32oz of water first thing in the morning!
Hello Erin and Dusty. Really love al of your video's, thanks for the inspiration. I have a little question about the vinegar, hope you can help. What is the percentage of white distilled vinegar? Is it concentrated 100% that you buy or just a dilution with water. If its diluted which percentage do you buy? thanks a lot, love Marieke from the Netherlands :)
Hey Kelly, it’s Erin. I know this isn’t much help, but I actually quit using deodorant several years ago lol. I would recommend looking into the brand called Jason!
I just want to let you guys know that I have been using vinegar and eucalyptus oil instead of the chemical spray i buy from the store and i have seen a reduction in my allergies!
@@EatMoveRest thank you so much for your reply, I've just been looking into cleaning products and just wanted to know if these still worked for you. Love you guys xx
I've also done my laundry with baking soda for over a year now, works fine. Couldn't you add the vinegar first and insert the soda and the essential oil in the softener compartment. Our laundry machine has a special compartment for softner, which it starts to add during the rinsing cycle, so it won't cancel out the vinegar during the washing process.
Thanks for this...I will try the oil pulling and toothpaste recipe for sure!!! Be sure your baking soda for toothpaste is aluminum free ;-) I use A&H baking soda for cleaning, but it is not aluminum free!
I will try the oil pulling! I love my teeth and have like almost everything you can think of but had not tried the oil pulling love the video you two are a great looking couple I follow you guys and one more love the light and love you send! Stay awesome
EatMoveRest beautiful teeth! I got a gum surgery yesterday, a lot of stitches 😩, I will try oil pulling to heal them faster. Thanks for your advice and for answer quickly!
I tried just coconut and baking soda for teeth. My teeth turned yellow after a week using just that. I am back to Crest. Not sure how you have white teeth just with coconut and baking soda.
We got the idea after I scrubbed our juicer equipment clean with baking soda. It was stained yellow and orange from turmeric and ginger, and completely scrubbed clean back to its original white! After doing some research online I found that baking soda, coconut oil, and mint essential oil is all you need! Bummer that it didn’t work out for you, but we’ve being using it for almost a year now and no adverse effects! I would look into a more natural toothpaste with less harmful ingredients, like Toms! That’s what we travel with!👌
Lol awesome! Those three products are so common. What else do we need? :) I'm surprised oil pulling and brushing with baking soda & coco oil helped your teeth get so white again. I used to bleach my teeth all the time, but I no longer do. The oil pulling and brushing with that homemade toothpaste doesn't get my teeth as white as they used to be :( lol maybe you guys are just lucky 😂😁🤓
Haha! We're probably also lucky because we're some of the few that don't drink coffee, either! Yes, these products are definitely common! We wanted to give our most-used and most inexpensive products. We'll get more into the nitty gritty down the road! We want to do an essential oils post and show how we use them! Another awesome ingredient we started using for skin care is bentonite clay! Check it out on Amazon! ;)
I really like your channel, however, I'm am surprised to see you use a product by Arm and Hammer. It was on Peta's list of testing on animals. I gave up using conventional products like Tide, Crest, Proctor and Gamble and Arm and Hammer etc., even before I went vegan, knowing that these big corporations don't have people, animals or the earth's best interests in mind. Thank you
Hi. I noticed u were using arm and hammer baking soda. Arm and hammer is not cruelty free, u r vegans so why not use products that are not tested on animals. 😀. Lots of products to choose from.
Made the toothpaste, tried oil pulling, after just 1 time I saw big difference! Even my reluuctant hubby is impressed! You guys rock!!!
That’s such great news! Glad to hear it!!

Yikes! I couldn't handle walking barefoot in our house if we were using chemicals, and definitely wouldn't want our critters getting sick! ;)
Vinegar +baking soda fantastic for removing scale from sinks
Yes!!
Thanks for all the information !! What do you all do for laundry detergent?
Oh and I love your channel!
veggiemom2000 thanks a bunch! We just use Dr Bronners and a scoop of baking soda OR a splash of vinegar with it!
Great! thank you for your quick response.
Great video. Could you make a more specific video on how you use the vinegar and baking soda for laundry???
We typically just sprinkle some baking soda directly on the clothes once we throw them in the laundry and it softens and cleans them up! Or else we will put vinegar in with the detergent to help eliminate odors!
Good share. Activated charcoal + coconut oil + turmeric for toothpaste.

You should definitely try Dr Bronners Tea Tree soap. I use it for everything including washing our 4 dogs.
Love Dr. Bronner's...will have to try that scent! Thanks for the great idea!🙌🏻😄
What does one do when you can't stand the scent or taste of coconut? But the tongue scraper, baking soda and vinegar I can definitely support.
Can't wait to make my teeth paste tonight! (I say teeth cause I have a whole mouth full, not just one) 😜

After the oil pulling, do you spit it out or swallow the coconut oil?
Melexi Moon spit it out. DO NOT SWALLOW. it draws thw bacteria and filth out of your teeth and gums and you don't want that in your system ;)
Yep, just a good 20 minutes of swishing, then spit, and rinse out with water! We usually do oil-pulling first, rinse, brush, and then drink 32oz of water first thing in the morning!
How much coconut oil do you put on when getting out of the shower?
Not a ton, just enough to cover the entire body with a thin layer!
What kind of laundry soap do you guys use? Love this video!
An organic free and clear brand from Whole Foods!

Baking soda will strip the enamel from teeth. It's recommended for twice a week use on teeth. Not daily use.
Mixed with coconut oil it's actually mild enough and hasn't damaged our teeth at all!
