Well she was a child when she had a child herself (she's 45 & daughter is 28) so her decision making skills needed some revision just from that. Absolutely none of my female family, friends or coworkers are _quitting their job_ because a guy working at a warehouse said he would take care of her lol

He did tell 1 truth. She was trying to control him. It just didn't work because only a control freak would try to talk to someone who was 12 years younger that had nothing in common with who was telling clear lies from jump and she still went along with it because she thought she could change him.

That case shows that credulity and gullibility is not a matter of age. It’s not because are older that you are wiser. At 45 years old, you’re supposed to be mature enough to know that you have to count on yourself first and that your companion should be your ‘plan B’. His immaturity attracted hers. It’s easy for her to blame him but she is a big part of her situation.
