Looking great mate 🏴 somthing to think about with the slabs overhanging the pond the fish can bump they selves on them so alot of people put them flush to the inside of the pond I make the mistake and then glued form to the insides but with your water level being low you might be ok 👍🏻

As you’re in Wales, surely slate tiles around the top. But, whatever you use the pond will look great. Your lilies will have to grow a bit more this year 😀. TBF all the bloke said was he doesn't like how the foam looks and in his opinion it isn't necessary. He's never put down anyone either doing the fibreglassing or using a fibreglasser that uses a different system. It's ok to have different opinions on how to do things, it's not ok to have a go at people because you don't like the professional or the way they do things, that they've hired to do the job.
Just to point out I didn't actually put down anyone's system of fibreglassing. That's something you've obviously picked up on .what I was pointing out ,was .that it was lucky that this chap had a nice honest bloke do the work for him.As there are alot of tricksters our there doing this currently..
