Dr A, if your epoxy goes crystalline you can pop the tube in hot water and it will reconstitute. That has always worked for me.

That's a great idea, have you tried what kind of range you can get from it yet?
Furthest so far is 20 miles, but if I could be bothered to mount it on my pole antenna likely a bit further.
It's less about the range, Vs what you actually receive, so far, fantastically boring. Like running your own pager service. Possibly more useful after a nuclear attack 🤣
Most people I see say to leave them in client mute mode unless you have really good coverage, but then they don't detail too much about what to do if you do have good coverage. Router or Repeater, maybe?
Seems not to matter what I choose, not many people around here 🤣

I set it as a repeater, I do not think there is too much in it for most use cases. I access it via WiFi
