Nick, first let me say I've already prayed for you, too! Life has more good left to be written-in your book of life. Change is coming, stay strong and believe that "this too shall pass" so do whatever it takes to hang on like the cat clinging to the proverbial screen door- remember the old poster? "Hang in there?" Faith can move mountains and give you a reprieve, if only momentarily, to adjust your heading and follow the true path, whatever that may be. I pray that you find it and be true to yourself. You deserve better, my friend. Remember change begins from within, get to look in the mirror again, cast away your doubts and talk with the Man upstairs, and don't be afraid to listen, you'll get thru this and one day the man in the mirror will be the man who looks back at you with respect because you did it. I am in LOVE LOVE LOVE with these lyrics. The story of someone's heart breaking when the love of their life has decided to leave. She is running from what she's never felt with anyone. Fear is pushing her to run cause she's use to failing in love. He is hurting so badly that there's a desire to have her remember them and what they shared and how she felt when they were loving each other. He's thinking if she remembers then she'd miss him and come back.
I always seem to come back to this song and this video especially. It doesn’t have flashy cars, fireworks, and actors... it’s raw, not perfect, it’s real!!!

yes, this! I mean, I've got some fav patches I use that emulate the sound SO close but there is still something about the real thing - kinda like playing a real grand piano vs even the best samples! Anyway, he does a FANTASTIC job delivering the vocals, too!

I have sat in my car jamming out to this song so many times singing it so out of key it should be illegal and I've always loved it. But sitting here watching this video and listing to the music and the emotions behind it made me fall in love with this song all over again! Your music is so different and new and I never thought I could love it anymore but I love this acoustic version a lot! I hope to one day hear it live!
