They will realize in a few years. He's just hitting his prime. People laughed when I told them he would be the goat at least of this generation back in 2010. No-one in history is this versatile man.
I wonder if New Yorkers know that they are the only ones who mention Big. Literally no one else mentions him and he was FIRE. He had no cultural impact on anyplace other than NYC. There’s a reason PAC has 7-8 movies made, books, college courses and his image on shirts and posters to this day. 15 year olds know PAC songs. 15 year olds just KNOW who big was
Not true... plenty of people from other regions mention Big... it was mainly Millennial rappers who came out in the '00s from all over the country who first started calling Biggie the goat. Even when Ice Cube was asked about the whole "King of NY" debate, he said that it will always be Big, because he never gave up the crown or lost it... even though he died, he's still the king. Those were Cube's words.
What he said about not like us on how it took multiple times to hear to like it, is pretty much Drakes career. So many songs Drake came out with n a lot of ppl was like that shit is trash but cuz his songs gets non stop play on the radio n shit now it’s “ nah that’s my shit”

If you’re really a Hip Hop head then you already know that the West has been putting on for years, much love to them for that.
Kendrick Lamar🔥🔥
I love this album no bad songs on here at all🤷🏾♂️. Also I’ll stand on it. Kendrick has surpassed LOTS of people. Personally I have him as the greatest nobody in hip hop has that much quality in that few albums with so much detail. Nobody has EVER done that
They will realize in a few years. He's just hitting his prime. People laughed when I told them he would be the goat at least of this generation back in 2010. No-one in history is this versatile man.
💯💯
I wonder if New Yorkers know that they are the only ones who mention Big. Literally no one else mentions him and he was FIRE. He had no cultural impact on anyplace other than NYC. There’s a reason PAC has 7-8 movies made, books, college courses and his image on shirts and posters to this day. 15 year olds know PAC songs. 15 year olds just KNOW who big was
Facts!
Not true... plenty of people from other regions mention Big... it was mainly Millennial rappers who came out in the '00s from all over the country who first started calling Biggie the goat. Even when Ice Cube was asked about the whole "King of NY" debate, he said that it will always be Big, because he never gave up the crown or lost it... even though he died, he's still the king. Those were Cube's words.
Shake em up’ shake em up’ shake em up’ shake em’ - Ice Cube
Peekaboo is the best song on that album. Shit is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
🗣📢What they talmbout? They ain't talkin' bout nothin
That’s what I’m saying. Gives me Midnight Club vibes
I like them all.
Peekaboo garbage 🗑️ it's literally the only song I don't like. Maybe it's the last dude verse and Kendrick first verse
@ your breath is garbage
People can have whatever opinion they want. The album was made for CALIFORNIA, not anyone else.
Yo this man can't accept the fact that things can grow on you over time. Instead he is over here like the radio is brainwashing me.
What he said about not like us on how it took multiple times to hear to like it, is pretty much Drakes career. So many songs Drake came out with n a lot of ppl was like that shit is trash but cuz his songs gets non stop play on the radio n shit now it’s “ nah that’s my shit”
💯💯💯 VERY GOOD POINT!!!!
Kendrick did his thing representing the West Coast coming from someone Living in San Diego knowing about the LA Culture... that said looking forward to more videos from this album....
Daygo
Dot whopping feet 😂
New York doesn't like anything outside of New York.I know ppl that aren't Kendrick fans and automatically liked the song.
I’m from NYC and I rocc with kendrick ; Soo try again lol
Some don’t but they don’t represent everybody. Most of us New Yorkers listen to artists from outside the city with no hate
I'm a lukewarm Kendrick fan and I didn't immediately like the song, either... it took awhile for it to grow on me.
@@KtotheG The song was a mega hit straight out the gate. That says a lot. This is my third time out the country and hearing the song. If it wasn't for you that's fine.
@@11Rayycash01 You can't be this daft to think I mean every NYer. However lots of New Yorkers have hated on the South and West Coast..
Kendrick is keeping it solid like Pimp C lol
Kick the the guy in the Philly jersey out the barbershop please
The messed up thjng is Kendrick and Jay Rock have a whole mixtape dedicated to the East Coast called "No Sleep Til NYC". Yet, some of them STILL on hate him. Im from the South. I already know they dont respect us, but damn! Lol
Never knew somebody could make a Reggie White throwback look mid. #NastyWork
😭😭😭
12:42 Philly man asked how long Dot has been out and he answered his own question with 2020. I can tell he’s never listened to a Kendrick album. If you don’t like his voice that’s fine, but don’t like you do like his music because you actually took the time listen and consume the lyrics and the stories in the albums.
When I first heard Not Like Us I thought it was alright but when Kendrick performed it live on the Amazon show everything changed lol!
Whoa. What the fxck just happened at the beginning of this video. I'm paused at 1:04. I ain't even realize that what Young Chris 💯💪🏾
Im From LA... The city is up right now. Kendrick says a lot that Flys over heads.. if you not over here you not going to understand LA politics
You CANNOT ask a bias opinionated person about other artist who aren’t from the East Coast!
@@daviddozier7163 nah that’s that’s man’s opinion and he’s entitled to it lol because his preference is mostly limited to his region there’s gonna be so many things in Kendrick’s content that he’ll never catch or understand
@@nvm7191nigga he brought up in da club. come on now you can clearly see there’s bias.
GKMC was like a modern illmatic to me
13:31 Meff Hoffa - Kendrick has yet to make an album better than Life After Death
Dude tuning fork is off
These guy's are hilarious Kendrick is better the BIG
Meth hoffa 🤣
Eagles gear’s 5 mins of fame is up! 😂😂
I like Mecca he always brings sense to every conversation
I was bout to fast forward then realized it was young Chris, so I def had to listen 💯
Math was salivating for Drake while him and Kendrick were dropping disses….. interesting to see his take now. 😂😂
4:33 “east coast trauma”. Exactly 😂
I think if you don't like Kendrick's voice, It's cuz you don't truly know how well he can rap. He sometimes takes his foot off the gas to allow simpler listeners to enjoy his art. He coulda rapped like "Rigamortus" on the whole album.
They don’t like Kendrick because he said he’s the King of New York on the Control verse, they still salty about that
If you listen to the 3rd verse on TV off it's obvious it's the song for the super bowl...."flags thrown like it was pass interference"....."walk in new Orleans with the etiquette of LA"...etc etc....screaming MUSTARRD...the whole crowd screams along....the drums and band... they r already playing that 2nd beat from the breakdown at NBA games....turn his TV Off, said repeatedly sound like "turn this TV off" so maybe that'll be a trick of the ear....so many ways he could go with that performance....I expect mustard to be present on stage when he yells for him tho. Lol....Mustard's well-deserved acknowledgement
I said the same thing!💯😂
I'm not a kendrick fan . . I like his singles . Listen to his 4 albums .
Even I can say GNX was 🔥. This a classic album for my taste . Only like 3 skips. I have to give kendrick credit .
What the 3skips?
I knew new york cats would hate
They stuck in their own world and can’t embrace anything new nor different. But these cats is all old and set in their ways. The sign of closed minds
OG in the Sheagles jersey is a straight h8ter! NY ninjas h8te the Westcoast with a passion! They rather big up a Toronto pop artist than a Westcoast rapper 🤦🏽♂️
Nah, that's just some dudes... The Chronic changed NY hip hop in the '90s... that's a straight up fact... Dre and Snoop ruled Hot 97 for a minute.
Every other my dude in there said they liked it and they from ny, how you gone say ny hate Cali damn bozo
Kendrick is a top tier rapper but his rap voice is trash
@@dollarsthf you must be a Gen Zr. It’s been known over history the East always had hate over the West and it’s still going on if you open your ears.
@@robbase275 Drake sounds corny asf but you still get wet when you hear his music 😆
TV Off seems to be song he aill roll into the Superbowl with. He even SAYS it in the song. He has more hits than Not Like Us. That song was for a moment. He has more that speaks tp his catalogue.
East Coast people are weird about music.
I think instead of using the term surpassing any of the greats but that people may mean Kendrick could have competed in the 90s.
Green dude with the annoying ny accent, talking about Kendrick's voice?
imagine SUGE knight,Eazy E,Dr Dre,E-40,Snoop Dogg,Ice Cube , Too short,Mc hammer ,Tupac having a historical convo with these cats and criticizing all the songs coming out the west and east rn
That’s how I feel about Drake his voice .
"Rolling WOODS in my neck of...." - Young Chris ... MY GOD! 🔥❤🔥
Let's Goooooo Young Chris! #BARS.... Still!!
Man when people dont understand how they're being closed minded I just claiming preference is wild... Lyrics aint popular and youll finding a way to hate
That intro song 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Diss track hit him so hard he said: “This Gotta be illegal” Not Mr Drop Drop Drop
I dont think Dot was trying to make this his best body of work. People get Dot makes music for art, for himself first, not for the hype be said himself he does it for compton. There's a lot of people that love the West Coast sound, and he has so much to say, but people dont always catch it.
If you cant get passed his voice how do you listen to the track or the depth of the lyrics? Ijs
Good intro math keep it like gave different artist from singers to rappers open up the show!
Each time you post, it's a treat!
Ny have to realize 2pac was the man in the east coast but thanks to diddy he went to the west cause yall didnt believe him so im glad kendrick winning for the west coast
GKMC is better than life after death
FACTS!!!! As a personal preference, I have TPAB over that one as well. But I'm a big fan of funk music so I can see why others don't rock with it as much
@@tsevere Life after Death have plenty of skips
Facts 0 skips
Right they skipped past that part
Facts
He also makes a reference to “I Gave You Power” by Nas on the song “Gloria”
Young Chris Intro tho 🔥🔥🔥
Facts ‼️
I knew Not Like Us was a hit off first listen.
Dude in the green is a hater!
I love when I hear a hater, try to rationalize their reasons for hating. Then say “ I’m not hating” 😂😅
