You are the first person I have _ever_ seen who bothered to do a glasses test, thank you! Nobody ever takes glasses into account when reviewing headsets and it's infuriating. I've got a nice pair of headphones, they're super comfy in short bursts, but after about a half hour or so the frames of my glasses really start digging into my head.
I got these around 3-4 weeks ago, and I’m in love with them. I would totally recommend them to somebody who wants to buy a headset but for a not-so-expensive price

I thought he only did a mic test at 3:05 as he cut the music so yo ucan focus on the mic. Whereas, at 3:56 the music is still playing so maybe he was using his normal mic during then. But correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm glad they're going for the dual chamber design, giving the mids and highs more room to shine. I've put on WAY to many headsets and just been blown away by overwhelming amounts of bass. Bass is good, it is also necessary, however, if a driver is tuned for too much of it it'll muddle up the highs and mids, and all you'll hear is boomy gunfire. Hopefully this headset will provide a good middle ground between FEELING the game, and having good positional audio. I asked for a pair for xmas from my girlfriend, and she's pretty bad ass so I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get em. Great video man! I can't wait to put these bad boys on and pwn some noobs!

Jordin B it’s because his pc has a good sound card. If your using this for console. Every console has a good sound card so it should sound about the same.
For anyone watching this in 2021 and u plan on getting these headphones. Make sure you replace the earmuffs to a bigger size because at 2:55 those speakers will rub against ur ear and hurt like hell

Tacanacy hell no it's about the feeling for the really good ones. I like the Razer Kraken Pro V2 and yes the mic is good it's comfortable and it has surround sounds
if your play online first person shooters, I recommend going and buying a mini am of some sort. I play with this headset and I can tell exactly which direction an enemy is in and if you add a mini amp, this headset will out perform a lot of others. the sound is clear.
HyperX is known for their SSDs, But they really should be known for their headphones. The Cloud 2's took the market by storm and I can see this easily taking its spot as the most popular.
@@xAguzx32 I think that there are better options now than the Alphas. Also, I would also note that for me, the Alphas get really hot in my hears and I have to take breaks every now and then for my ears to cool off. I also had a problem when turning the volume dial, one side of the ear gets louder than the other. So yeah, even though these have some of the best sound for a gaming headset, I would say that you should go with another headset. I was going to return these and instead get the PC37X but I eneded up keeping them. Hope this helped.
HyperX headsets are generally pretty great, however they all share one major flaw in form of the braided cable, which causes loud noises when coming in contact with clothes/..., because oo its rough surface. In the case of the Alpha it's not that bad though, since the cable is swappable.
Finally a Headset microphone, that sounds like an actual microphone. I even like this more. The other one sounds deeper. But it's just about the right settings.
JACOB green if you care about sound quality, never buy an Astro headset. I had a Hyperx Cloud and bought an Astro a40 hoping for better sound, and I have never been more disappointed. The Alpha is better than a normal one, so I'd say to buy an alpha instead. I will say that if you don't care about sound, the a40 is pretty cool looking.
Sounds like you have some pretty aggressive noise gate or something on your audio. Might want to dial that back a bit? Kinda clipping your words at times. On to the headset: OH MY GOD FINALLY A HEADSET WITH A DECENT MIC. So nice to hear that! I bought these and unfortunately the mic doesnt work. I use its single 3,5mm jack but even when i bought a splitter, my laptop still doesnt even recognize it. Tried everything i can do but its still not even recognized. Help plz
i returned the corsair h60 pros and astro a40s before landed on these, hands down the best headset for the price. plus ill be able to use this for my ps5 when it comes, whereas the astros were seperate.

For you and any future readers, if you're on Windows 10 FCU there's an option to turn on spatial sound - Windows Sonic. It does the exact same thing as virtual surround sound.

I was wondering the same thing. Narrowed everything down to these HyperX clouds, turtle beach stealth 700, and ps4 gold wireless headset if I wanna save some money. I can’t decide... its such a tough choice. So many people hate turtle beach, but I don’t mind them although I never had anything other than turtle beaches. I am currently leaning towards these hyperX clouds tho, since everyone seems to absolutely hate turtle beach for some reason.
I have tried the TB stealth 700 on my ps4,sound is good with good deep bass but they are not loud enough which is dissapointing. Also the TB build quality is realy crap,every time i put them on or of my head i was affraid they would snap so i returned them.
