    Digging the Premo instrumental in the opening test segment!! Nice little feature - may be replacing my 38 with one of these later in the season/early next year.

      Costs and ongoing issues with material availability. They can now manufacture only a few stanchion configurations for the whole lineup.

    Isn't the new dumper charger 3 with "New" IFP design less sensitive/active than old charger 2.1 with bladder design ?
    Because the IFP piston with coil spring has the basic charger for example in Lyrik RC and in comparison with charger 2.1 there is noticable less sensitive than charger 2.1 with blader. And the same feal have when I ride in fox38 grip 2 les sensitivity more firm and soon tired hands.
    I had Lyrik and now on new bike have fox38 I am not satisfied with it, I deciding between Zeb charger 2.1 or charger 3 , my priority is sensitivity, no compresion dumping I use compresion on fully open. Could you help me to chose the right one ? With sensitivity like lyrik ultimate.

      You don't know what you're missing, fox is clearly superior in everything... Rockshox still has a lot to do in my opinion. The forks are very stiff and slide very little, the mono very stiff and accommodating. With fox there is no story brother

      My 36 feels like butter, much plusher and supportive than the pike ultimate it replaced. If you have the grip2 it’s probably a setup issue. I weigh 72kg and have 3 spacers and 50 psi.

    • @SaettaJ

      The 38 comes in two versions: ebike tuned and standard. Both versions must be opened and prepared as on all mtb forks in circulation. I advise you to try an Emtb tuned and do the smoothness processing. The fox 38 gives its maximum performance. We prepare the forks every day and the result is guaranteed. Fox is better then Rockshox zeb... no way bro !

      @Adam-vm8kp 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Anyone who tells you one fork is more comfortable over another has no clue. “Comfortable” is subjective. What tyres and pressure you run, tubes or tubeless, frame material, wheel material, spoke tension, bars, grips etc as factors in. It’s like asking someone if chicken or beef is better, you’ll get a million answers. Between a lyrik and a 36 there’s very little difference but people love to pick a side and argue.

    So which is more poppy? I modded my previous and current RS forks to have more negative chamber volume so the spring curve became much more progressive without the need for tokens.
    Sounds like the new stuff is mostly extra damped? I don't like that.
    Also, the Zeb was +21.5%, 7% & 2% stiffer than the Lyrik. The new Lyrik is +20%. So they're the same now @160?

    "New technology" lol. My first suspension forks ran on "buttercup technology", like 25 years ago,
    Dont be a freakin shill because RS sends you nice stuff, rubber bumpers arent exactly revolutionary.
    In fact, DVO is doins something MUCH better, for quite some time now. Wheres the review/comparison of/with that?

      Same with the “brand new” IFP damper technology which has been on Fox’s budget GRIP damper since 2017. Somehow every marketing season there’s a “revolutionary” improvement

    • @akjdhfkqwrhetkjanfvkkkresae
      @akjdhfkqwrhetkjanfvkkkresae 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You misunderstand the technology. Buttercups are an isolated air and damper mounting point. Not a bottom out bumper. Also OTT is a total hack to save cost marketed as a ‘feature’.

      @CptMooney 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@akjdhfkqwrhetkjanfvkkkresae No, ive looked into Rock Shox marketing jizz, its literally just a rubber bumper. And arguably a spring does a better job at it.
