    Very nice ammonites and I especially liked the Belemnite with the phragmacone in place! Waiting on part 2.

    My wife wants to vacation someday in Ireland and Scotland… You already know where I’ll want to stop! Hopefully someday we’ll be able to afford a trip like that.

    Nice video - nice finds. Looking forward to part two. Ih've allways wanted to explore the Yorkshire jurassic coast, but a bit hard to do on crutches😁. I'm going to a place near Markaryd for a week soon. Do you perhaps know any good fossil hunting grounds in that area?

      Thanks for watching. Glad you like it! Then you should probably go east to Ignaberga Quarry in Hässleholm. Cretaceous beds for sharks teeth and other fossils. 👍

    I watched a video about the extinction of the ammonites that was very interesting. The only living ammonites today (or their relatives I can’t remember the name) are in the Indian Ocean. The only ocean without seals! Seals ate them all!!!

      It's the deep sea Nautilus you are referring to I believe. Yeah the last true ammonites went extinct in the K-Pg event. :(

    Grym video! Kul att följa dig. Hur är det förresten med fynd man gör i UK? Det är ju inte EU längre. Är det problem i tullen med fossiler, tänker om det går som typ fornminnen eller nåt? Började precis kolla, så vet inte om du nämner det senare :)

    • @fossilswede
      @fossilswede  ปีที่แล้ว

      Tack. Nej inte fornminnesklassat. Så ska inte vara några problem. Ingen tull på sånt man inte köpt heller. 🤷‍♂️
