- Buckle up for a guided tour of the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 with Supercars legend, Greg Murphy.
He talks you through what makes this exhilarating performance car, the most powerful vehicle ever offered by HSV, covering all highlighted features in the cabin and its sculpted exterior.
Hi Greg Murphy this is Jordan here. I would vote to see a review on the HSV GTSR W1 and the Camaro ZL1 with soundtracks of both cars revving to 6000RPM please.
Still haven't fixed the centre console arm rest....its on the left for lhd not rhd
CORVETTE ZR1 well the mustang has the cup holders in the way as well, so it’s not like they’re cheaping out compared to its rival.
Say for example I wanted one would you guys fit up Holden/hsv badges all round
Wish we had them here 🇬🇧😭
Uk gang
Agreed with CORVETTEZR1, that center console and in particular the cup holder is a real disappointment. Put either a can or bottle in there and it's directly in the way with the drivers arm to select gears. I'm still waiting for a test drive from my local dealer (Alto) to validate if the entry/ departure angles would clear my curb crossover to the garage.
Greg seems confused if the panel above the engine is either a "hood or bonnet" 🤔
WOWWW what an incredible car
Hey HSV are the australian going to get the new mid engine Z51 package corvette and if so, will holden Dealers sell it right across AU or are your guys going to do the C8 in the R version, ? Also Pricing as well for the C8 , C8 z51 please if its anywhere around the 100K mark for a C8 forget it ? 75K for the Z51 in the USA, so why over 100K when its imported right hand drive directly into AU, so there should be not mods at all, cars is ready to go other than the first 500 miles shes down around 15% HP but after that you have the 500HP on tap ready to go ?
The 2020 C8 Corvette will have nothing to do with HSV, it will be produced factory RHD in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
The Z51 package is the only spec at this stage that will be avaliable for the Australian Market for the C8
Check the Holden website (not the hsv one). They already have the new corvette on there
USA doesn't have federal consumption there your answer, Australia does adds $47000 tax to a corvette grandsport 7z7

WOw snow and ice mode, somehow i don't think those people that go to mt buller are going to be putting chains on those wheels, in fact i bet the owners manuals will say you cant put chains on the wheels also is there a real full size spare in it or just the flat tyres foam crap ? But more importantly the cars paint surface is it protected against rust formation, meaning that in the US especially those states which has snow and black ice on the roads and when the spray various chemicals to de ice the roads like salt based chemicals, also most the same stuff use to de ice aircraft wings, how much of those chemicals resistance in the cars paint surface ? People do not what a cars paint surface to start showing rust with in the first 10 years really, especially in low spots with in the cars boot areas and under or near the corners of the windshield or sill panels ?
Also damage and repairs which are the companies which guarantee the repairs via panel shops right across australia? Just like holden did with the VF ?
In USA these cars cost around 80k new or 60k second hand ones. 140k is a joke..
This isn't USA mate, This is Aussie Aussie Aussie Australia !
USA doesn't have federal consumption there your answer, government rips us off in Australia 35 yrs
$80000usd = $120000aud
$50000 tax on the price
Australia $173000aud - DEALER DELIVERY TAX = $170500 - ctp and Rego = $169000 - luxury car tax = $136000 - 10% gst = $123000aud - rhd conversion = $100000aud - shopping and custom fees at the port = $96000 . USA $64000usd without taxes bro
when GM decides to send over right hand drive, what is this camaro worth then? (HSV conversion)? massive depreciation given there is about 30k of conversion. Currently over price compared to the mustang! the reason why they are dearer is because HSV need to do the conversion. i simply cant buy one now, given it will cost more than the one coming from the US in right drive. Put simply they are over priced. Also why Ford are killing it here with the mustang, as no conversion required. Camaro in the US is basically the same price as the mustang. i cant justify buying one from HSV. Keeping in mind a new mustang is about $65KAUD this is what the stock Camaro should be! there is no other reason.
Will never be a hsv
I reckon the W1 would be faster around Mt Panorama.. just saying...
Um no no it's not sorry....just saying
USA doesn't have federal consumption why zl1 is $64000usd , In Australia $50000 tax add to drive away price $173000aud
also mixed in there is the HSV pocket fill.. they need to do the Right hand conversion.

@@coopsnz1 whats your point? at the end of the day, Ford pay the same! Nobody is going to buy an over priced camaro! lived in the US for 7years Camaro's are the same price as the Mustangs. the main point here is. GM need to supply right hand drive vehicles. Anyhow who purchases a converted vehicle, is on a losing battle and will take a huge loss.! GM are sending 300 right had drive next year. your converted car from HSV is now worth less! The new camaro from the factory will be around 60K ( same as the mustang . The same car from HSV is around 90K
