Thank you so much Dr Gutwein for taking the time to do these videos for the applicants. They’re extremely helpful. Jacobi is an excellent program that offers great opportunities.
I personally like the idea of trying to communicate while in the waiting room, it can actually relieve one's feel of anxiety or nervousness. Thank you ☺️ Dr. Gutwein. Looking forward to meet you in upcoming match session 🙏.
Dear Dr Gutwein, I was really looking forward to applying this during my interview with you. Sadly, I received a regret letter last week… and after talking to residents and a few faculty as you advised, I find it hard to do my “Fox and grapes” shrug. Grrrrrh
I turn back to your videos whenever I get a fleeting doubt about this. I wanted to ask what your opinion is on the kind of background an applicant must have? Is a simple plain wall the way to go, or is it better to have shelves, artwork, books, etc., portraying more about a person? Thank you.
Thank you so much, Dr. Gutwein. It really adds so much.
thank you. smile and keep talking
The paintings behind you are so interesting Dr. Gutwein

Sorry. It is really hard to go through 4765 applicants and not say no to some of those great people. :(

I do not think it is very important, but I think it is nice to show a little of who you are instead of a blank wall.
You are awesome sir.
