What a brilliant series of videos i do them all and now at 67 I’m probably fitter and more active than i was at 57 thanks for all your efforts in helping us oldies😊
Hi Will…these exercise movements have given me a new love of life…they are easily performed and the relief is instant..may you prosper many hundreds-fold professionally with an H T Physio Clinic in every capitol city in every major country worldwide…we of the senior community are desperate for a drug free pain reduction/prevention approach…Will, you and your mission are heaven sent…❤️
This channel is brilliant! I'm so glad I’ve come across you! You are a gift for us. Your generosity sharing your knowledge and the scientific explanations is much appreciated! Thank you for sharing it with us Will!👋❤
Dear Will Harlow I just want to say that in my life I don't think I have ever really known how my bones muscles and body really worked until your videos Now I know about why things happen and how to help myself. After knee replacement in the summer I credit the physios who hoped me for a quick recovery, so here's to you all and I wish you Will nothing buy health wealth and happiness.keepmaking videos because I'm either having g it or going to get it in the future and I'll be prepared. Thanks again Sheila k
I tripped on an uneven pavement a few weeks ago and have had a very painful back as a result. I'm gently returning to exercise and will try the back exercises as a starter. Thank you for the exercise demo: so helpful as I've lent my book to a friend, who's gone on holiday!
For a long time I have held the belief that many aches and pains can be resolved through stretching, exercise and massage if you just know where to start, what to target and what to do. So it has been a joy to find this channel that helps me take that belief to another level. Great explanations and so many stretches and exercises that on my own I would never have thought of or tried. Thanks Will.
Appreciate that every detailed is explained before executing the exercise. I did try one set each and was relieved from my back pain which comes and goes. From Canada here, wish you have a branch here👍
I do follow your channel and see your videos each day, but somehow this one has particularly been more useful than normal. Thank you very kindly for sharing your knowledge and expertise, Will !
Thank you again Will, very useful. The exercise against weakness developed a noticeable pain in one knee, .. any reason? Very grateful more, for all of us following you.
I’ve been doing some of these exercises but will add the new ones to my routine. I also need to increase my reps. I watched your video about walking. I often have pain in the lower back and hips when I walk. I’m hoping this will help. Thank you.
Excellent video for me. Lower back stiffness is my big problem. My goal is to be able to walk freely while standing straight up. I am 77 years old and 3 years ago I had my L3, L4, L5 and S1 fused. It fixed my severe sciatica problem and kept me out of a wheel chair and I am able to do almost anything now except walk fast and walk standing straight up. Because of my previous problems and age, what should my realistic expectations be? Should I be happy with what I've got, or should I keep trying for more? I watch your videos and do the simple exercises you recommend for seniors.
Hi Will, I do need to carry out these exercises as you described my back issues precisely. I also have a meniscus tear for which I receive ultra sound. My question is can I undertake these exercises without aggravating my knee.
Hello Will, This exercise not possible for me for now, until I get the left hip joint fixed. I really look forward to improve through your well explained back/hip flexibility exercises💕🇰🇪
I was very fit until 2021 when my back started to hurt. I went to the physio at the local hospital who told me to carry on exercising which I did and, ultimately, I injured my back more which eventually went into spasm. 2 years on I am still in constant pain. Too late for me but a video on acute back injuries would be very useful.
Not too late. Like you I was very fit but had episodes of back pain probably caused by enforced bad posture when I was still working. Then 2 years ago my back went into extreme spasm so that I could hardly move. Owing to lockdowns I couldn’t get to see anyone so the condition if anything worsened for 2 months. Then I saw an osteopath who over 5 or 6 sessions unlocked everything. So I would recommend finding a good osteopath. GPs useless, they will only give you painkillers. Now I am having trouble walking, probably because the leg muscles got weak, and I am finding some of these physiotherapy exercises on this channel very useful. Not up to scratch yet but rapidly improving. But do see someone! Worth the money to get your health back. And best if luck.
Hi Will, I have been following your channel since last year. Wonder if you can produce a clip on exercises we can do on a long haul flight (economy class😂) of 10 hours, especially for those with sciatica and swollen feet issue.
One question Will if you don’t mind…during these exercise on the floor, can I place a small pillow to support my neck, since I feel a bit of strain lying flat on the floor on my neck.
Love your content , thank you. I did not know extending toes back can cause a cranky sciatica pain. Would this be in all realtionships to gravity? For example on floor taking toes towards knee?
I love your videos and often keep doing the exercises you are showing us. It is quite a coincidence that this morning I had an appointment with a surgeon who specializes in lower back problems. He suggested I ought to have more exercises meant especially for the lower back. Now I shall start with these ones. One question: Tightness, I saw you on one knee but did not see you move at all. Which part of your body did you push or pull? It was the third in the group of exercises intended for tightness. Thank you. Regards from the Northern Countries of Europe.
The timing of this video from the TH-cam algorithm is uncanny! I’ve literally started to suffer with this in the past couple of months. Finding it really hard to bend e.g when putting shoes on.
I recently started increasing my walking on a daily basis. My lower back is getting sore and tired. Will these exercises help, or will the back get better on its own if I keep walking?
Hello. I am four months after total hip replacement and coming along well. I am anxious about putting my right ankle over my left knee/ thigh.I also have a lot of scar tissue to gradually work on. Sould I defer this move or just try it. Thank you.
Hi...I'm a 48 year old male, reasonably fit, working out everyday for the last 30 years. About 80% of my workout is body weight ( pull up, push up, running, shadow bowling, stretching etc) & 20% is light / medium weights. I play active cricket. In October last year, while doing a dorsiflexion stretch in lying down posture, I got pain symptoms of sciatica ( due to a disc bulge). Terrible pain lasted for about 7-8 days & after that it's negligible. I'm doing core strengthening for last 8 months but a certain part of my left leg - near the outer calf muscle, still feels lightly numb. Sensory perceptions are 100% all right even there ( as per tests) but that numbness / rubbery kind of feeling persists. I am a left arm fast bowler in cricket & wish to continue with the game without debilitating perils to my back. Is that possible ?

What to do if I feel I have done too much stretching? Can this cause back pains as well?
Is that last stretch safe for spondylolisthesis?
Thank you so much. problem solved ASA I tried these movements.
