This woman smiled throughout her testimony which was often chillingly horrific...Her hope and joy for life shines through no matter what her memory forces her to relay! She is a true inspiration.
I won’t forget your and the other testimonials I have listened to. There are no words for me to describe how the Holocaust makes me feel and I cannot even imagine living through it. My heart goes out to you, the survivors and all those who were killed. I hope the world will learn from the past so such genocide and horror will never happen again. Thank you so much for sharing your testimony Eva, you’re a strong and delightful lady and as you said ‘a sense of humour’ is so important. 🙅♀️🙅♀️
I am so fortunate to live in a time wherein I can click, listen and learn! The stain of this horrible tragedy will never go away yet still we know that persecution and genocide continues throughout the world right now!!
Eva Gross’ story is fascinating and horrifying. Thank you for your courage to share. America is entering its own dark time now. I will use this as inspiration to resist fascism that is rising.
Interseting testimony , she did not mention that Fredy Hirsch was a gay man , he was a hero who helped so many children and adults. His being gay was just as important to him as his Jewish identity ! And it's important to remember all victims of the holocaust. Thank you

Because of testimony like hers , I listen and learn of this hideous stain on worlds conscience . Bless the survivors and those who are still living some 25 years after these Shoah recording.N E V E R F O R G E T

It’s amazing to me the interviewer feels free to interrupt!

OMG, you are literally criticizing this wonderful survivor for not mentioning that? You should be ashamed of yourself. Truly ashamed.
