That's more like a socially anxious person than an introvert. Introverts do socialize, and a lot of them do it just as well as any extrovert, they just tend to prefer being alone. You can also be extroverted (extremely, even) but have social anxiety.

Just don’t talk much outside of that unless spoken to. extroverted people can also be shy in ways . And yes there ARE people who can be both depending on the scenario but it doesn’t make them shy😭
