That was sensational. Who knew when you first started being driven around in Rickshaws that you would end up in a basement with such brilliant players. Made my day thankyou and thanks to all those talented performers.

Hopefully you could 'follow' Sai group and make periodic contents and new series like rickshaw series. This is something interesting and one of the oldest Japanese cultural values.

Just shows "You never know what life gives you", sometimes it's chokolades other times it's 2000 year old traditional drumming - I love this, it all started with a Rickshaw ride, and went into something very unique, I love you bro, but also envy you, but still love you. I do not know what you want out of life, but if your goal is to stay in Japan and find a Japanese partner, I am cheering you on. Hope your 2022 will be awesome.

This is the best video I've seen you upload. The "cute girl" thing gets a little old for me, but you've managed to include that along with including something culturally relevant. The effort and excitement the gentlemen show is inspiring. If you can show things that move you, they will move the people watching as well. Thank you and I hope you can do more like this.
The second song they perform was especially good. It reminded me of a modern day heavy metal song with the slow parts. Very good.

  • @jaw147

I saw the Kodo Taiko drumming group perform at UC Berkeley many years ago, and this video moved me so much more than that because of the intimate experience shared from the drummers here, and their harmonic heart which is so apparent. Also a huge delight to show them teaching a young woman to play with them as a beginner. It truly shows the kind and caring heart of these players, and their love for sharing the ancient art so that it may continue into the future. Kudos on the video work to capture all of that in its stunning glory. Yes, the acoustics of the microphone for that room may not have been optimal, but I quickly got beyond that because I was so mesmerized by the team members and their energy together and for us, their audience. Obrigado! -Jonathan, from Portugal.

Well done Misa san. The complexities of Japanese language, writing, rhythm and collective synchronicity may have come to your aid there but you were so quick to learn and timing was remarkable.
It's one of the things I love about Kyoto Tachibana SHS marching band. And Atarashii Gakko.
Like them its not just the quality and the timing but the spirit that shines through.
