I don't know about y'all, but I hate Widowmaker. I know, "Get good, play the line-of-sight, etc." But the point is, a skilled Widowmaker can be more oppressive than any other hero. But an unskilled Widowmaker is more useless than a unskilled player on any other hero.
Essentially, if the Widow is good, the other team has no fun. If the Widowmaker is bad, her teammates are immensely frustrated.
It's just like sombra, but sombra is a lot harder to get value with now I feel. If someone plays them right they are stupid opressive.
@@OutCastsHope yeah but sombra is annoying at most but can't really get picks on heroes when they are properly grouped, whereas a widow can quite consistently take out a support in the midst of all its teammates.

I agree shes very strong but this first game is also a prime example of what happens if no one counterswaps. Ofc widow is gonna dominate if you play Ana, Zen, Sym, Torb and Zarya.
Nah I think she is only good cause dive is currently bad due to hog and many nerfs to dive characters like doom, genji, and Winston being counter well almost all dive hero’s are countered by hog

you are an absolute idiot to even think that the two are comparable. my god, the lack of intelligence and critical thinking in the overwatch community is beyond baffling. no one should be having to explain to you that widow is squishy and easily punished. hog has self heal, damage reduction, 700 health, insane cc, huge hitbox on hook, barely any counter play because of kiriko and the aforementioned stuff, etc. why does this need to be spelled out for you?
