Hi Ben and David - I’m so pleased you’ve put this Vlog/video up at this time as I called the nurses in at 5:30 pm to give me my medication so I could settle down and watch and watched you - the last two vlog videos with your nephews have gave me some inspiration that I think I might try a cruise with one of my carers. As I’m in a wheelchair as well - I’m only thinking about at the moment but as your nephews really enjoyed it and said it was for accessible it’s giving me a bit of courage - I’m sending loads of love and loads of hugs and a huge thank you to your nephews - I hope you have a great week ~ Xxx Xxx
@@anthurion1 She may not have the option where she is, i.e. in hospital at this time. Also she may not be allowed to have 24 hours access to some of her drugs due to fed laws. Even with the added LOL, that remark was quite insensitive.
Hi Louise, I have RRMS, and I am going on a cruise with my sisters and step mom, next week. I will be using a scooter, and quite literally leaning on family if I need to be on my feet for any length of time. I’m a little anxious, but mostly excited. I hope that you talk to your carers, and are able to enjoy a cruise in the future.
In the words of the indisputable Queen of Bravo.. “Money can’t buy you class” Love love LOVE watching the boys on camera. They are naturals. Such lovely young men ❤️❤️❤️❤️
At the risk of repeating myself, I must say that you two are such WONDERFUL uncles to these exceptional boys!! Makes my heart melt. Thank you for being the people you are. 🫶
Excellent video for so many reasons! But -- my favorite thing about Ben & David -- is their sense of gratitude. They set a wonderful example for the rest of us! 😀
The Century was the first Celebrity ship my wife and I were ever on (in 2010). After crushing with Celebrity 10 more times (including on the Edge and the Ascent and with two more booked (on the Ascent again and in late 2025 on the Xcel) we couldn’t agree more that Celebrity is the best cruise line we’ve ever experienced.

Wonderful series about people with disabilities as I have never thought about accessibility while cruising. You've opened my eyes. Hope the boys enjoyed the cruise and hope to see them again in the future.
So wonderful to read this comment! I have MS and use a walker or wheelchair. It can be very difficult to vacation. Cruise lines are really starting to pay more attention to this. Celebrity is one of rheumatoid arthritis best.
This was hands down my favorite of all your cruise videos I have seen. Beautiful ports, beautiful weather, incredible scenery and of course your family. Those darling boys! I hope you can cruise with them again. Thank you so much for sharing❤
I used to work for Celebrity, in a restaurant department and I can confirm that the food is something else👌 miss those days and looking at this was a bit nostalgic.. cheers from Croatia❤
Ben and David - my wife and I were on the Ascent in March and we absolutely loved it. We completely agree with all of your 5-star ratings and would even give our infinite balcony a 5-star as well. We liked it. My wife and I will be back on the Ascent next February and we couldn’t be more psyched!!! Great video.
We were on Ascent in January. Everything they say about how good this ship is is accurate. BTW, we were seated at the same table in Cosmopolitan restaurant that was used for their breakfast in the video for all our dinners. Our impression of the Infinite Veranda is different because we are from Florida and were cruising the Caribbean. For us, it was like what we do to open the house up. We're a little more used to the heat and humidity. But we understand the issues. To sum up, we have never had as good a cruising experience as that ship provided.
I am from long Island New York and watch everything you put out. I am sorry for the idiots that put stupid comments out. All your content is great and very detailed. Keep up the good work always look forward to your next video. Your new place looks beautiful good luck.
Yep. It's like in all of the contemporary decor I've seen and I really don't care for it. I also think it'll date these ships as early to mid 2020s ships. I'm not big on the decor of the ship. It's pretty but nondescript and not all the Celebrity like. I much prefer the richer and deeper colors of the Solstice class ships plus those public areas are more evocative of very stylish period design of the 1920s-1960s, a Celebrity signature that's missing in most of the Edge class ships.
I would love your nephews to design a non-fabric flag that could be attached to a lightweight pole on my wheelchair. That might help me when I am in more crowded places. People could see a small flag that could identify me as being in a wheelchair. Something identifiable yet cute. Your video made me see the concerns of others in populated situations. Others besides wheelchair users would benefit. Thank you.
That’s a fantastic idea! 😊 I’ll definitely share your suggestion with the boys-they’d love to come up with a cute and identifiable design. A small flag could be a great way to help others notice you in crowded places. We’re glad the video brought attention to these important concerns. Thanks for your thoughtful suggestion!
Hi, I shared my 2 cents in an earlier post. I work for a company that does wheelchair sales and repairs. I completely agree with this idea. Again, your readers would probably be surprised by how many repairs we do to wheelchairs that have been hit by cars...while the occupants are in it!!!
I'm glad the boys had fun. My husband and i went on our one and only cruise on Celebrity Millennium in September 2017. I use a wheelchair and a cane to get around and the crew were absolutely Wonderful! They really paid attention to what was going on around them and seemed like all we had to do was Look like we needed something and they were there so quickly your head would spin. They transported us off the ship the same way they did the boys while in port (Juneau and Ketchikan, Alaska). This definitely makes me want take a cruise (on this ship now) again!
Again a great and honest review. Side note. Am I the only one that catches and giggles at all your side jokes. I just love them. Please never stop them.
Totally get why towns want to reduce cruiseships coming in. Way too crowded most of the time. I am so happy you show how difficult it is to manage the crowds if you are wheelchair bound. Your nephews are adorable and it is nice to see them having a great time even with the frustration of dealing with rude people.
What could be better than going on a wonderful cruise with your beautiful family! You guys are living the life that so many of us can only dream of. You share the world with all of us and I so look forward to your videos. Thank you and please keep doing what you do. Your nephews are so precious and I love watching how much you love them.
Loved this cruising adventure with you and your adorable family. The boys just absolutely loved it , their smiling faces and excitement was heart warming. Think you’ve convinced me to try out Celebrity in the future.
Recently returned from a cruise on the Celebrity Beyond (July 13 -21) to Curacao, Aruba and Bonaire. I have sailed previously on NCL (Gem, Breakaway, Escape) the MSC Seaside and Celebrity Solstice. I have to say that the Edge class ships like the Beyond are far and away better than any ship I've been on before. The cabin was beautiful, the food was great, loved Le Petit Chef and the ship was just gorgeous. I loved it so much I've already booked next year's cruise on the Beyond and ended up with the same cabin you guys had 9132. You guys are so great to watch I look forward to seeing you every Sunday.
I did a celebrity cruise in July, French and Italian Riveira, starting in Barcelona and finishing in Rome and it was one of my best trips I’ve had! Absolutely incredible! The only problems were the WiFi connection, the food was nice but it was just the same stuff everyday, but those certainly didn’t ruin my experience at all! I’ve got another booked for this coming summer going to Spain, Portugal and Morocco, can’t wait!
Just love you both to pieces! Your positive but honest attitude is such a breath of fresh air. If I'm having a bad day, I just watch one of your videos and I always feel better. Big hug to you both!
Ben and David, you two are the most dedicated professional people I have ever watched re:cruising! I'm fact, while my husband is currently receiving Cancer treatment, I would love to take him on a cruise. In fact, I narrowed it down to only watching you two! You are brilliant! Probably don't have time to answer, but you mentioned accessibility. He's lost almost 1/2 of his body weight and now must use a cane. For that reason, was wondering if the Mediterranean was the only place with these issues? I just want him to see a little bit more of the world! Many blessings to you both!
Thank you so much for your kind words! 😊 All ports have their challenges when it comes to accessibility. However, we’ve found that Northern Europe and the more developed Caribbean ports tend to be more accessible. The cruise lines’ private islands are usually very accessibility-friendly as well. We hope you find the perfect cruise for you both! Many blessings to you during this time. 🙏🚢
As someone who's an ambulatory wheelchair user... While I haven't been on a proper cruise myself, I can still say that you might find the Caribbean or northern Europe more accessible for the simple reason that many of the ports are either in or around cities or newly arranged private islands owned by the cruiseline. In the Mediterranean, many ports can be in very old towns or places with hilly terrain, along with old cobblestone roads. Many places in the Greek islands for example can have a lot of terrain, stairs and cobblestone simply because the towns are very very old and often also protected so they just can't do much or anything to make it more accessible for people with impaired mobility. I'd personally probably stay on the ship in most ports if going on a cruise in the Mediterranean, because uneven terrain is both painful and extremely tiring to get around on. Norway is a stunning country to visit and while you may not get much sun and warmth there, many ports that ships visit probably aren't too bad. I've been to Norway a lot by car and caravan (it's my neighbor to the west after all, I'm Swedish) and the towns and cities I've visited there (granted, before wheelchair) are places I could see myself visiting again now as I remember them as pretty good when it comes to getting around. If you're cruising in Norway (for example with Hurtigruten) and stop by in Tromsø in the north, the port is essentially in the city center so it's very easy to have a look around if having enough time, and the city center isn't too hilly either. But if wanting to be sure, and wanting warm weather, going for Caribbean might be your best bet
M husband and I took our first cruise ever on Celebrity in 1997. I must say that the trip was an excellent one. Celebrity set the bar very high for any future cruises. We went from New York City to Bermuda for a five-day trip. The celebrity ship was small enough to dock right in Hamilton and that was great. I have since been on two Royal Caribbean cruises that were okay, but didn't measure up to that first one. Glad to see that Celebrity hasn't lost its touch.
This is a way different Celebrity than 1997. I liked my cruises on Celebrity in that time period, This Celebrity is trying to a appeal to a younger audience and the ship style is way more freestyle NCL with all the different restaurants and such and emphasis on showroom entertainment. I feel like the Edge ships lack of social lounges are a big miss as well as the exclusive suite areas taking out areas like an observation lounge to be a deal breaker. Solstice class retains much more of the established Celebrity but Edge ships are a departure. The food and service will be fine but the spaces and options are different.
I’ve been following you guys for a few months now, beginning back in the Spring when we were preparing for our first ever cruise on the Beyond. We are sold on Celebrity ships at this point since we’ve been spoiled 😂 I wanted to say that even though it’s pricey, you should go to La Voyage some time. The food on Celebrity is so good, as you both know, but HOLY MOLY, La Voyage was exceptional. The service was perfection, the restaurant was quiet even though it’s above the main atrium (you go through two sets of doors to get in). Highly recommend. So glad your family had a wonderful time! We are considering a Mediterranean cruise next year, so I was excited to watch!
Went to Portofino in 1962 with my parents. Very few tourists but a lot of very wealthy people sipping their G&Ts on their large yachts. At that time several famous actors had villas their. My best memory apart from that are of the local fishermen, their wives would sit round the harbour lace-making (mostly older ladies). Won't see anything like that now. Cheap as chips back then and I don't remember any designer shops. Just a village of ordinary people mostly fisher folk with a number of super rich
I used to cruise with Royal and Princess and though both were great ships ….when I cruised with Celebrity , I never went back . We’ve done 6 Celebrity ships so far from the Equinox to the Accent and loved them all. Three years ago we sailed from Honolulu to Tahiti , New Zealand and ended in Australia aboard the Eclipse and though it was an older ship, the food, entertainment and service were great. We’re doing another cruise in March aboard the newly renovated Eclipse…can’t wait. We’re also saving up for another “big” cruise either to Japan or Australia and New Zealand. By the way…my wife and I both love you guys .
Just recently got off Celebrity Apex (our first Edge class ship although already Celebrity fans 😊) - the theatre and its technology is something else! - best I’ve seen at sea!
The first 5 cruises I was on were Norwegian. Once I cruised on Celebrity, I was sold. There were two shows that blew my mind. I only remember one of the names. It was Amadeus. The other was as spectacular as a cirque du soileil (sp?), costumes & special effects. I agree on the food. Norwegian was like Howard Johnson’s. Celebrity was the Ritz.
I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed this series; the ship was amazing, the ports were great and the boys were definitely the stars of the show!! You guys are amazing and you got so much footage , even though you were on a very special family trip you still took the time to make a top notch video!! Love from Canada
I love watching your guys videos. You two are incredibly genuine, funny, and are yourself. Watching these videos stand out from the rest of the cruise review videos of this format. Its down to earth, natural, and not over produced. Perfect.
I Enjoyed this Video. It brings back Memories of our cruise there. BUT what IMPRESSED me the most was The Two Well Behaved Young Men. They are just so cute and I just love lessening to their Descriptions of the Food and Excursions. 😊Loved It! Thank You again. ❤
Hello Ben & David from No. California👏🏿. I ABSOLUTELY love you guys!!😊💐 Thank You for being so ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!!❤️ Who cares who double dips as long as you both are so PRECIOUS!!! Thank you for being you!!!❤️💐❤️😊❤️💐😊😍
I love all of your videos, but this one was really stellar! The bad with the good, as you always do and we appreciate - but you showed so much joy towards the end! Really great to see. ❤
Great vlog as always. I heard so many good things about this ship that I booked one of her 11 night Caribbean itineraries in a single veranda. Looking forward to it. Thanks for reaffirming I made a good decision.
I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...
I am so happy with this series with your family. It was so much fun. And, what a great review. I am not surprised having seen your experiences through the series. Celebrity is my favorite line to sail with. Peace
I enjoy all your videos. The boys made this trip extra special. I'm going to miss their sparkle on future videos.. i felt their excitement. Took me back to my first cruise when everything was new to a landlubber, know it all teen who thought she was too old for family vacations. Ben and David get my vote for fun uncles. So when are you going to grab Oscar, Teddy and the twins for the ultimated family trip, a Disney cruise and visit to Disney World?
Love your videos! As Scots who now live in Canada we love all your jokes and side comments. Did MSC for our first two cruises and have now done 3 Celebrity and have 2 more booked. So enjoyed seeing your nephews on camera, they do deserve their own episode 😄
Absolutely brilliant series. I have loved all of it and the boys. I have seen every one of your videos and this series is my favorite. Wonderful to see you all having such a great time.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Hi Ben and David, Love your work, gentlemen. I'm so glad you take your nephews on some of your cruise trips. What an amazing experience for them to have!!
Love your videos but these lately have been special. Absolutely delighted to see your nephews enjoying themselves. They will always remember this trip. Thank you for sharing.
I've just loved this cruise series of vids, thank you! I need to branch out to other lines, and this is on my list. Thanks again, I just love watching you guys and watching the boys on this was a great added bonus..they are both a delight.
Happy Sunday Ben and David. Love this review especially with your family. The food all looked delicious and the ship itself beautiful. I think this is the highest rating you've ever given a cruise. The only negative is how rude some people can be. As always thank you for all you do and taking us along. ❤❤
I just read a news story today on how places are limiting the amount of visitors daily. Portugal has areas that simply clog up so bad that people can't get to work. My brother lives just outside Prague and he says it's so busy with tourists that he stays away from the busy areas as much as possible. Seeing you in Port and the crowds and rude people just isn't how I would want to spend my time. Thank you for always sharing your honest opinion.
The boys were super! I loved watching them enjoy the trip. They are wonderful, well behaved boys. Bravo to their parents. As usual your videos are great to watch, thank you Ben and David. 🙂
I am so thrilled you enjoyed Ascent. Celebrity has become my husband and mine line of choice for all the reasons you highlight: food, service, drink, entertainment, and the overall vibe. Already have Xcel booked for a January 2026!
Ben and David, what a cruise !!! I really enjoyed myself cruising vicariously through you. I just wish that I could have tasted some of the delicious food which you consumed. I can imagine scents, but my taste buds haven't developed ESP, yet. Give yourselves and your family a huge hug, because I enjoyed every minute of this cruise. ❤ 😊 🫂
I was a crew member for 10 years and afterwards worked at Carnival Offices in Southampton. I have friends working on NCL, Costa, MSC and Silversea, and I have to say I LOVE your videos! I stumbled across one and have now watched several 😂, I’ve just subscribed xxx
Santa Margarita looks like one of the most beautiful places- your videography is stunning as always! So glad your family had such a wonderful time for their first cruise - I’m ready to book a celebrity after your review! ❤
Of all of your videos this is my favorite one! Everything about it was engaging and informative and lovely. And I loved meeting your nephews in this video. They seem like just delightful young man. Thank you for all of your good work and I look forward to seeing all of your upcoming videos.
I absolutely love your videos, makes my morning while getting ready for work so much better. Will be looking into booking with Celebrity next. Thank you for your honest reviews, and all the little jokes. 😊
This was one of the best reviews ya'll have done Ben! My congrats, you gave very helpful hints/tips and I enjoyed it thoroughly. We are on Ascent in the Caribbean next April.
Loved this little series with your gorgeous family. Feel so proud that you continue to love celebrity so much…. They have long been my favourite cruise line.
Loved the series with y’all’s family! You were very cheeky at breakfast in this video, David. 😂 I was rather surprised. Loved it though. The only thing I wish y’all had shown was the boys room. I’m personally interested in what a handicap room is like. It seemed like they wanted more privacy and I respect that. I was thoroughly grateful they got to go the cruise and that y’all highlighted the accessibility both good and bad. Thank you!
Thank you! 😂 Glad you enjoyed the breakfast antics. We did show the boys’ room in the first episode, but I understand it might have been missed. We appreciate your feedback on the accessibility highlights. Thanks for watching!
@@Cruisewith I went back and rewatched the entire video. I’m really glad that I did. Y’all did an excellent job explaining the good and bad of accessibility on that video, as did Herbie and Henry. They are great. Thank for reminding you had already done that. I feel foolish for forgetting something so important to me. Thank you for reminding me and showing all of us at butt level there are places to have fun.
Me again comparing Ben's and David's fashion as how I see it. David wins with the Anchors Shirt. BTW I was at Splendido, A Belmond Hotel, Portofino with my family walking up the hill to get there for a snack lunch. Absolutely out of this world guys. So luxurious I didn't want to leave the toilet. Love Portofino always.

New T-shirt for you guys: “research purposes only” with a picture of a waffles & dips😅😅
THAT HAS TO HAPPEN!
Just love you both to pieces! Your positive but honest attitude is such a breath of fresh air. If I'm having a bad day, I just watch one of your videos and I always feel better. Big hug to you both!
A couple of hours ago I was hoping for a video from you guys. And lo and behold here it is.
The boys are darling. I love their narrations! They are naturals.
@@Cruisewith see, y'all are so wonderful!!!
This is a spectacular video by Ben and David. Even has a peak into the tender experience.
Great video, we were on it on the inaugural and it was fabulous! We love Celebrity, the food and service is the best at sea!
I just love it when yall get tickled over the silent disco or other things.. just proves how REAL you are.. love to you both from North Carolina
more love from NC
Just recently got off Celebrity Apex (our first Edge class ship although already Celebrity fans 😊) - the theatre and its technology is something else! - best I’ve seen at sea!
The first 5 cruises I was on were Norwegian. Once I cruised on Celebrity, I was sold. There were two shows that blew my mind. I only remember one of the names. It was Amadeus. The other was as spectacular as a cirque du soileil (sp?), costumes & special effects. I agree on the food. Norwegian was like Howard Johnson’s. Celebrity was the Ritz.
I've just recently found your channel and I Love you both so much!! You're so descriptive and informative! 🥰
Thanks guys. We really appreciate how hard you work on these vlogs. This was a fabulous review. ❤
Perfect.
Happy to see this third episode! It was great. Especially the focus on mobility.❤ thx for doing this series.❤❤❤
I Enjoyed this Video. It brings back Memories of our cruise there. BUT what IMPRESSED me the most was The Two Well Behaved Young Men. They are just so cute and I just love lessening to their Descriptions of the Food and Excursions. 😊Loved It! Thank You again. ❤
Hadn't thought of going on Celebrity, but loved your review and how much you enjoyed that trip. Will give them a look!
Another awesome video. Your nephews are so sweet and well mannered. Always lovely to see you so appreciative to enjoy cruises.
Great vlog as always. I heard so many good things about this ship that I booked one of her 11 night Caribbean itineraries in a single veranda. Looking forward to it. Thanks for reaffirming I made a good decision.
Thanks for all the energy you both put in to share your cruises with us.
I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...
You two are so cute, what a lucky, amazing couple. My husband and I watch your videos, and our 12 year old is starting to watch with us.
David, I’m with you on your food choices…..I would be trying every fish dish. The ones you picked looked delicious!
Another great review, honest and very informative.
Herbie and Henry are just delightful, they loved le Petit’s chef didn’t they? Xxx
Love your videos but these lately have been special. Absolutely delighted to see your nephews enjoying themselves. They will always remember this trip. Thank you for sharing.
Love the boys and hope we see more of them. For us with family with special needs, it is great to know what to expect.
Fantastic review guys, as always your Videos are 10 out of 10
I've just loved this cruise series of vids, thank you!
Thank you so much! ❤😊 We’re thrilled you enjoyed the cruise vicariously with us. We’ll definitely pass on the hug to the family!
Thank you for the Amazing coverage guys! It brings me so much joy. Loved Portofino!
I absolutely love your videos, makes my morning while getting ready for work so much better. Will be looking into booking with Celebrity next. Thank you for your honest reviews, and all the little jokes. 😊
Your nephews are the sweetest! Great review of the ship too! Beautiful region!
This was one of the best reviews ya'll have done Ben! My congrats, you gave very helpful hints/tips and I enjoyed it thoroughly. We are on Ascent in the Caribbean next April.
Great vlog, going on the Ascent next year, I’m
glad you have it a good review ! 😊
Hey Ben and David! Just watched this video after your NCL Epic nightmare. What a difference!!! Love you guys!
WOW.. It is so beautiful and 100% my vibe. I'm 4 nights short of Platinum status on NCL..... but now thinking a brand-loyalty jump 😍
You should definitely try Celebrity. I love NCL but Celebrity Edge class ships are special.
@@Cruisewith I’ll go back and rewatch it. Thanks for telling me about it.
Your nephews are such sweethearts. They look so happy to be with you guys on the cruise. ❤
It's great u booth give honest view about cruises
Love you're vlogs. I never been on a cruise. Looks like so munch fun. The food looks great. Love you guy's you both make me smile.❤❤❤❤
The boys are just delightful, and thank you for highlighting accessibility! 🫶🏼
Next cruise is Beyond!!! Thanks Ben & David!!! Excited to see Captain Kate!!!!!! 😊
