I was driving in rural south central Florida a few years ago. A jade plant in full bloom was growing on the side of an old rotting dilapidated shed. Stunning plant.
That is amazing!! They only grow in botanical garden greenhouses here as they're so big but also not happy in my local climate. Do you live on hawaii? My brother lives there now for his work with the University 👌
The blue jade vine is only found in the Philippines and very hard to cultivate because these plants are pollinated by bats and live in damp riverside forests in the Philippines ( I think I said it wrong ) but these are endangered due to illegal logging/ deforestation/ loss of habitat but luckily these plants are now protected and are also found on mount makiling, Luzon and the mountain is protected so I think it’s certain that this plant will increase in the future because the Philippines will be reforesting 2 million hectares in the Philippines which will be a great for huge biodiversity and increase in animals and plants so hope for the best 😃😃😀😀😁😁👍
Thank you for sharing - these botanical gardens are focused on Asia and show a lot of plants that are in danger - they work with local people to help cultivate them and luckily this one grows well here.
my gosh, why dont people use correct colours to name plants! Where is it jade? Blue, turquoise, aquamarine.... so many beautiful right colours! (...i still cant forgive them "namers" for calling beautiful violet cattleyas "blue"😂)

I'm not sure, not very long but if there's more strings of flowers then it can spread out in time more
