I have commented since last year in the hope of finding a school offering full scholarship. But, unfortunately, I haven't found any. I'm entering senior year next year. I'm thinking doing a short program during the second semester in Swiss Boarding School instead. Any suggestions for short programs or full scholarships? Btw, I turned the form in just in case. Thank you for sharing always :)
A little late to the party, but if you are still active on this account I was wondering how much finical aid you received? Does the school pay your full tuition or partial, or does it depend?
It really just depends on you and what you're interested in. At the time, I was into public speaking and politics so I sort of needed to have extracurriculars like that. But maybe if you're into more academic interests like history or psychology just having something else to talk about (books, articles) would be okay
I'm 15 and since ever I've always wanted to study abroad, not just at university, but I've been dreaming of going to a college abroad (Switzerland and UK being my main interests). However, I'm going on an exchange year next year to USA, and I don't know if doing both things should be good. Anyways, thank you for this video, literally, it has cleared a bit more my doubts of going to a boarding school and of how. I have one question, though: did your marks play an important role in being chosen for the scholarship? If yes, what were your marks (to have an approximate standard)?
Hey, first I had two friends in the boarding school that did the same thing that you might do. They went to the USA for a year and then they got a scholarship. It sort of depends on what you want to do but an exchange can actually help you get into a boarding school :) Then, I don't think they had a super strict, or any for that matter, requirements but my grades were pretty high. I had around 5.2/6 GPA. I don't think they look at it that much though because in every country you have different standards.
Hello Currently i study on grade 12.My board exam ahead (August). I want to study abroad for free boarding as my family can't afford my cost. Which next steps will help e a lot to make my dream true?I am taking preparation for medical exam(MBBS).
Hey. If you are about to finish high school I suggest you consider going to the university abroad or going on the exchange while there. However, I understand why you might still want to go to the boarding school (high school). I suggest you start from watching my video where I explain it: th-cam.com/video/4F69F2zldeo/w-d-xo.html Also, you can sign up to the newsletter (description), so you get info on my skillshare course. In the course I explain how to apply and find schools step by step.
Hey. In Switzerland, you usually have to apply to schools separately. But I know my friend from Syria took part in some program that helped him, if that counts as an Arab country :)
Hello first of all I really love you videos, second I just turned 17 and I applied for uwc but was rejected and I will not be able to apply next year also I am not polish and I was really seeking opportunities to finish the last 2years of high school abroad and maybe pass the ib but I can’t apply to most of them due to lack of money so can u help realizing my dream of going to a high school abroad on a scholarship??
