Looks amazing my man. I love a good mixed reef. Love the Zoas on what I'm guessing is a pipe or overflow? Really cool idea. I may steal that once I get my bigger tank. Been back in the hobby for 6 months (since the 90's) and quickly filled up a 75...which I thought was HUGE at the time I bought it. Now to convince the wife she needs a 300 gallon tank in the living room. Lol keep up the amazing work.
Well, I really appreciate that. I do not do large water changes at all. I do daily water changes, well, rather a continuous water change 24/7 set to change 8 gallons a day. I use 2 Ecotech Versa's.
I had it only one time. It was about a month after I transferred from my 210 gal to this new setup. I expected it, I also had dynos. I have learned the best way of keeping cyano at bay is 1.) Lots of flow! 2.) A nice clean-up crew. I tell everyone to keep at least 1 to 2 per gallon. I have 600-gallon, so I keep about 1200 little guys. I had just added 1,000 blue leg hermits a few months ago. There is a short video I made of it. As far as the snails, I use Trochus snails. They are more expensive, but if they fall, they can right themselves back. And they can also breed in the aquarium so you won't have to buy more. I also mixed in cerith snails. They hide in the sand and come out at night to eat any fish waste. Any other questions, I am happy to help.
@billssaltwaterheaven do hermits eat algea besides waste? My cuc always dying over time, so I stopped buying them, and I had some hermits too, but I think they were deleting my snails, so I got rid of them.
Wow lots of eye candy!

Have u ever had cyano? What do you do to battle it?

@@HNiCDuke yes they do. Did u have astrea snails?
@@billssaltwaterheaven I have had them.
@HNiCDuke yes, they cannot turn themselves over if they fall, so the crabs go over and eat them.
Wow lots of eye candy!
Lol.. thanks 😊
