- A Rwanda-backed rebel group effectively captured the vital eastern DRC city of Goma, after a lightning offensive this week that reportedly included support from Rwandan troops.
On this week's episode, Bloomberg reporters Simon Marks and Michael Kavanagh, who’s covered the region for 20 years, join Jennifer Zabasajja to explain who the key players in the conflict are, what chance there is for a ceasefire and the risk this could spread into a wider regional conflict.

as long as people are not telling the true or divert the blame to Rwanda this war will not stop . As long as DRC is still run by warlords like Tsisekedi nothing is going to change
They are behind it there are videos of their soldiers in congo
❤❤❤
Remember 1994.
But intelligence reports show RDF soldiers fighting alongside M23. Is Rwanda saying what they're doing the world doesn't know
Any body with some humanity who examines the plight of the Kinyarwanda speaking people of Eastern DRC would necessarily support M23, M23 are the only capable challenge to your activities and thankfully they are winning, they are our only hope. We will clean our streets secure our communities and build our country. Unless we take up arms against you, our wealth is our curse. We used to beg for mercy now with M23, we are safe and can live in peace, if in doubt, come to Bunagana, Rucuro, Masisi and now Goma.
Bloomberg. mind you Western business. This doesn't seem like something you guys are experts in. Report on what goes on in ukraine but please don't overstepp in matters you don't understand or want to frame in your own lenses, whic is just distraction from the real issues.
