Killing Floor 3! Here we go. Killing Floor 2 was and is an excellent game. I still love Killing Floor (1) the most but the release of Killing Floor 2 was great. Their approach to early access was really smooth, by slowly releasing weapons, classes, and maps, but the core mechanics were always there. It's clear that KF3 will follow a similar approach. Likely early access and it will slowly bring the series to UE5. I hope they continue to have features like gibs, blood, fluids etc. on the PC side. I love those little gimmick features in the settings.
While the world and the encounters (aside from fun boss fights) being kind of not excellent. The Last Epoch definitely has very good systems and easier to understand than most games. Definitely a more meaningful skill and loot system than D4.

Pick any year from the 90s, go to google and type in “best games of 199X” and look what pops up, not just good games but dozens upon dozens of all time greats. GOAT tier games in each year. These days you struggle to scrape together three worthy nominees. Some of the most underwhelming and controversial winners each year.
