      It absolutely sucks! I just need to change the wi-fi on my printer because I got a new router, and the printer is still recognizing the old one, and I've tried all of the steps written and no luck. And you can't speak to anyone unless you pay more than what the printer actually costs. It's insane.

    I have to say, after having 2 (two) HP wireless printers, with many issues involved, including having to replace one unit after more than a year of trouble shooting.....I believe HP needs to do the 'trouble shooting' scan on these devices BEFORE it makes them available to the general public, just out of fairness to the consumer!!! We shouldn't have to be the recipient of poor worksmanship on the part of HP's rush to get these devices into circulation for making money ($$$$$$) Before they're properly made to function with as little problems as possible, this has been anything but the case!! And please, no BS responses!!!

      @@HPSupport The HP Printer is a 4100e series wireless internet connection .......My wireless HP Printer does not/will not recognize the security key meant to re-establish the wireless connection to my HP wireless printer, can you give me a logical reason why not?? The security code is correct!!

    There should not be a process like this to set up a printer. You should just set your wifi password connected and be able to go from there. Not 50 other steps to just print 1 page lol. No more HP for me.

    My printer will connect just fine for months, then without so much as a sneeze, go off line. It's almost impossible to reconnect!

    Mines apparently so old you cant release the button, it does everything the same but i tried 20 minutes doing it the way the video shows and it didn't work until i held the WPS and the printers WIFI button down at the same time then it pretty much instantly connected.

    HP is DRIVING ME BONKERS! I AM FOLLOWING THE DIRECTIONS TO PUT IT INTO PAIRING MODE. IT'S NOT FINDING THE COMPUTER & THERE'S NO ONE BUT ROBOTS TO SPEAK TO AT HP! UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I hate HP.

      ​​@@HPSupportou can help me connect mine. 7250 series, all on one, using my Android device. It's been connected before. I switched Wifi carrier and it doesn't want to connect. This isn't my first Wifi change, it connected to AT&T, Xfinity and one other. No clue why it won't connect to the new wifi with 5G and 2.4.

    Don't buy HP printers - their wireless connectivity is tragic. The software is incomprehensible. Connection is successful on the tenth try, but then the connection often drops out. The HP system is degraded.

      @@HPSupport hello, my wifi and bluetooth connection is perfect. By installing printer your app shows that it see printer, but printer is disconnected and can't install it. The I tried to add wirelles printer through direct wi-fi, and it sometimes works, but after installing it sometimes printing sometimes not. I have two HP printers - first Pro M12w, another MFP M130fw, and after 3 days not succesfull configuring M12w, was tried to replace it with MFP, and problem is same. Installing through Windows with WPA PIN was sometimes successful, sometimes not. And after successful instalation from some computers it prints from some not. Spent already one week with this stupid system, checked all supports, watched all blogs and that did not helped. First time in my life I see such dumb and complicated system as yours.

    Sorry to say, but I will never buy an Hp printer ever again.
    The "HP smart" is the stupidest app I have ever had to use.
    To scan a document, you have to register, which makes no sense. I already bought your product. Why do you force me to log in in order to be able to use the product I already purchased?
    Even then, I had to reinstall the app like 10 times because everytime I tried to log in the app would simply not respond and take me back to the start window.
    Furthermore I couldn't put in the Password to my wlan because it had an (i) in it and after reading the manual and trying every button i still couldn't get exclamation mark no matter how long i looked. In the end i had to connect via usb and then connect to the wifi. Too much work for nothing

      @HP Support Thanks for the comment, I could manage to work out all the problems I had because I know my way around a bit with computers and printers. It just took me too long to complete a simple task like scan a document or enter the password for my wifi.
      For people who aren't very familiar with technology, like many people of the older generation, it's extremely complicated for them to be able to use your printers because the software is simply not good!
      It's a shame because the hardware of the printers is pretty reliable. Only the software makes it bad.

      I switched to T-Mobile wifi with 2.4 & 5G speeds. I had to create an independent add on to my T-Mobile wifi through the app. There's a video on YT, the only video dedicated to connecting to T-Mobile. The solution may assist with other wifi providers, not sure tho. If you have T-Mobile LMK & I'll try & find & share which channel & title. Hope you get it figured out.

    Why does my printer says:
    WPS Error.
    Press OK to continue.
    I had the printer connected to the my previous wifi and with the app, i changed my wifi company and now the printer just doesn’t connect! I tried and tried for a few days unlucky to solve the connection issue. With the bluetooth on still it won’t find the device or anything!

    If anyone from HP, or actually anyone who can help (which almost automatically implies they don't work for HP), knows how to connect a MFP 182nw color laser printer to a fiber network using a GigaSpire wireless router please let me know. Where I lived previously we had a slower internet (Uverse) but I was using my own Lynksys wireless router and it connected first time like a champ using the WPS. Not this GigaSpire POS router. The HP printer's WPS and the GigaSpire router's WPS do not connect no matter what I try. Sad that this seems to be something HP has done as told the GigaSpire is a good wireless router. Help please.

      I understand that you are experiencing an issue with your printer showing an E9 error.
      An E9 error occurs when a problem occurs during a printer firmware update.
      1) Set up the wireless setup again.
      2) Touch the Information button .
      If the information page prints, the printer is back to normal state.
      If the printer fails to print the Information page, it is still in recovery mode and needs to download the firmware again.
      NOTE:
      During recovery mode, the printer automatically downloads firmware from the cloud. Leave the printer about 2 hours, depending on your network speed, to complete firmware download and update.

      I used to use old wireless HP jet printers a few years ago and liked them. They were working fine. But then they stopped selling the cartridge in the stores. One day I finally found the cartridge I needed, and bought a few of them. Not long after, I had to install the software in my new laptop. Now I could not even find the software supporting the model of the printer. They had removed the software so no one can use these old models anymore. Guess what? I had to buy a new printer! I bought a wireless HP laser and real problems with the printer started.

    I lost my printer password when I changed internet provider . No help from HP and this video is wrong as it states you can override the password requirement when setting up WPS
    To recover my password, I pressed the power button to print out the Network Configuration page and the password was there in black and white . Re- enter password and off we go .

    Are you kidding me? over 2 hours of jumping through fire hoops yesterday then 3 hours today ..... still no wifi for HP printer. SET UP was simple first time then for some unknown reason Deskjet 4152e took a trip offline. Impossible to reconnect to internet. Does HP now stand for Horrible Product?

    I'm sick to death of HP printers, never again. Everything is connected, except I get the message "No Driver Available"? It's a brand new printer? Restarted, reset, tried everything at least 3 times. Even the scan and print tool that is supposed to help won't download! I click download and nothing happens!
    I recommended HP to colleagues in the past, but never again. This has happened too many times with different HP printers

      @@HPSupport HPI7609F5 (HP OfficeJet Pro 8130e) connected to 2 different windows 11 laptops, both connec ok, both show settings like colour levels, door open etc. but refuse to print, and always show driver unavailable, I’ve tried to add the driver manually, it failed, I’ve tried to download the HP print doctor ( can’t remember exactly what it’s called) it doesn’t download when the link is clicked! I CAN print direct from an android phone though?

      Wow, now I understand why I'm having issues... I'm not having an "open door" error I was simply mentioning that the printer was connected as it was giving me information of the door being open when it was open, but would not print! (Obviously when the door is closed) Also I clearly stated that the hp doctor that you recommend does not download for me. I give up, you have clearly not read my reply @@HPSupport

    Worst service provider.
    I requested this cheap company to service my system on 8th June 2024 when my system is still under warranty according to them.
    It's been almost one and half month and I have made 4-5 calls but this cheap company has no logical reasons for not providing service.
    Even this cheap company is not interested in providing service, only interested in taking money from customer on name of service.
    I recommand please don't go with this cheap company.

    I actually think...and so does my internet company...that trying to reconnect my printer
    to wifi threw my internet connection off...took the guy 4 hours work and they figure it was one of my devices...i think my printer.. I can't print, but once in a while i try anyway and maybe, it's iffy.... 15 to 30 minutes later the printer poops out a print !..still says it is offline ...I can print easily from my phone and ipad but not hp laptop. I had just bought 3 ink cartridges so am using up as much ink as I can before I install the new Canon printer which I hope will connect to wifi. I should have known to not buy an HP printer because when I got
    a notice to see if I wanted to update my last HP ..of course, I said yes and the printer never worked after that ! So I foolishly bought this HP printer !

      @@HPSupport استطعت ان افعل طباعة على نت منزل بعد ساعتين من محاولات لكن طباعة الالوان جدا بطيئ يستغرق اكثر من ٧ دقائق الى ١٠ للورقة اي اذا بطبع ٣ ورق سوف يستغرق نصف ساعة !!؟؟ وانا دافعة ٧٠٠ ريال لخدمة سيئة في سرعة
      لا انصح احد بشرائها ... مضيعة للوقت

    HP quite literally makes the worst printers on the planet. You connect them once out of the box and then BOOM they magically fry themselves. Useless and embarrassing.

    Dumb easy ways to connect computer and printer.
    Ethernet cable printer to router. Done.
    Option 2
    USB-B plug into printer plug into computer (this will only work for that computer)

    Not given proper wifi network selection and password to connect. Hp is not a easy way to reset the wifi connect. Please dont use this hp printer which is not user friendly to set up.

    This is frustrating isnt it? My printer is going in the bin, I'm cancelling instant ink and buying a Canon. My advise to anyone is avoid HP. Cheap and nasty.

    HP printers are crap 🤮 as a salesperson I do not recommend HP printers, so many problems and argues with angry customers at service centre.
