Well that was 🔥!! I'll never get over what an amazing moment it is when a bait "comes to life" when you add the eyes. Nice to watch the "creative" part of the creative process as you feel your way through the development of the design, dealing with theory, adjustments, modifications, etc... It's just gosh darn fun to watch you work, sir!
Get you some corrugated plastic...you can make mold boxes out of that by cutting one layer and folding it into whatever shape you need and only having to seal where the ends come together at one point
Oh wow. I make 5 sizes of stick worms in the same colors cause that's what sells. Every now and then a custom color. But then I see this and I'm just blown away impressed. Those baits look totally legit. Can't wait to see what's up next. Excellent job Chris!
I've started making my own soft plastics because you inticed me too by watching your videos. I love the baits you make man and hope I can get a good step in the right direction 🙏
Awesome job! My colors, pigments, glitter and plastisol arrived today.. i ordered my injector from authentic handmade not knowing it would be coming from Ukraine, any ideas of how i could inject it without??
Hey Chris, Before baking, maybe try wetting your fingers and smoothing the clay with damp fingers. As usual, I love your videos!! Also, Legos make a pretty cool adjustable box.
Use one of those crab jig heads on it, load it up with deadon squid scent. Nice!!!! Future badass intro to the next video with string ray monster catch???!!!!
well like said before i was about to make a stingray mold, but say yours. i am going to fl for some shore line fishing and wanted to try a stingray. Any chance of buying these john
another great video you never disappoint keep up the good work! And If it's alright to ask what's the name of the outro music I have been trying to find it for so long lol.
Sir your amazing I mean everything you do are master pieces sir keep up the great work and I would love to get some of your baits or lures your great keep,it up
Cool process. Thanks for sharing. I think if you rig that ray with a slider jig like a Bonefish or Redfish jig, it might really catch some small Sharks. Slider rig would work in the surf too. Good luck, well done Sir.
These would be killer for California surf fishing if it were made with the floating plastic, fished on a Carolina Rig. I'll bet the Striper would go nuts.
That’s more then epic I would fish with that all day long I use a lot of my salt water lures for bass fishing and thay work grate. The hole time I’m watching this I’m thinking I hope he makes a bunch and even some that glow in the dark grate job on this can’t wait to see you fish with it
Cobia would eat those rays up. Stingrays and catfish are what they usually have in their stomachs. Those would be a little on the small side though. Really an excellent tutorial on making custom molds.
whether they work or not, you need to sell them!!!! I would be happy just to add one to my collection. I would love to try it surf fishing off of South Padre Island!!
Pretty freakin’ awesome. These and your rainbow trout are my favs and I truly would be interested in purchasing both. There are some lakes here in north GA the trout would work great on, and the rays would be awesome when we go to St. Marty’s every summer. I would take a half dozen of each.
I wonder how the action would change if you cut slits from outside the edges of the eyes all the way down the sides to where the little wings are to make big flappers on both sides. Might resemble the 'ripple' effect they have when they swim.
Rigging it to swim right is my curiosity. Hogy has a flat flounder lure they copied off of Long Island NY legendary fisherman Steve Petri Petris Fish lure.
I think a 90 degree or 45 deg jig hook would work best. VMC barbarian has a nice gap. How to pour around the hook is the big question. I would love to try one of these here in Daytona in the river and inlet.
You can also make your boxes out of foam board & a hot glue gun. You can also use some Mold Release to keep the mold from sticking to the box as much, i've seen some use nonstick cooking spray as well.
It's official .. Chris is a crazy genius. Deep enough to pour with a .5 to 1 oz head for surf fishing. If you're going any where Anna Maria Island we've cought many fish and ray's fishing from the beachs and pier, so I think they'll work.
@@WorldsWorstFishing My brother in law grew up near Winter Haven, his granny had a small house on the the beach there since the 30's or early 40's. Spend many vacations there. Its It's absolutely amazing. Wish she still had it...unfortunately she was offered too much $$$ to keep it. Have fun.
Have you ever seen another Stingray lure?? I'm curious to know.
No But here in Ohio no stingrays
World's Worst Fishing no but you need to sell those on your website
Westin make a flatfish soft lure, if that's close enough?

Nice... An eel or lampray lure would be cool to...
Yes please..
yeah a lamprey would be cool..I think Marling did a lamprey, you might could check that one out too.
Please do a big eel with a ribbon tail and send it to black tiph for giant Cobia ...
Did anyone come from marling baits? Either way this is amazing
I'm here for Marling baits. And I'm glad that I landed here except for the bathtub fishing....

Good video on how you can make a one piece reusable box.
in Australia we call the plastic card board corflute and a hot glue gun will be the best for making your boxes also the silicone wont stick
I think a soft plastic shrimp would be awesome!! Oh and Legos work very well making a mold box!
Nice bait love watching your videos where did you get your silicone to make the molds from
its called hobby silicone
Oh wow. I make 5 sizes of stick worms in the same colors cause that's what sells. Every now and then a custom color.
But then I see this and I'm just blown away impressed. Those baits look totally legit. Can't wait to see what's up next.
Excellent job Chris!
Nice work. Very inventive and creative. Do you have a video putting these into action?
That Stingray looks great probably the best bait I've ever seen you make good job
thank you so much man!
Awesome! Love to know how they worked in the Gulf!!
Nice video Chris, awesome looking!!!!!!!!!!! Keep casting!!!!!!!!!!!!
thank you greg
That was great man. Thanks for the upload
What's the best kind of silicone and catalist to use for boot making molds?
I've started making my own soft plastics because you inticed me too by watching your videos. I love the baits you make man and hope I can get a good step in the right direction 🙏
Very creative, looks awesome!!! Now let me get another swig of this beer.
Cheers!! lol
How do you get you steel plate molds made?
Hey Chris I think that would look great on a swing head jig I was just thinking it would get a little more motion tell me your thoughts
If these ever go for sale I'd really like to know, even just to have those are sweet
What silicone do you use to make your molds and where do you get it at? Thank you

is there a video of where you get your silicone or are you willing to share? too cool by the way.
its from hobby silicone
Hey Chris,
Before baking, maybe try wetting your fingers and smoothing the clay with damp fingers. As usual, I love your videos!! Also, Legos make a pretty cool adjustable box.
Keep the saltwater lures coming!!! So cool!!!
You absolutely HAVE to film a live fishing with these. I'd love to see that catch a fish!!!
Those bait boxes with separate compartments work well for a mold box I use those
Good idea
That is AMAZING! Those will slay!
What silicone do you use?
Use one of those crab jig heads on it, load it up with deadon squid scent. Nice!!!! Future badass intro to the next video with string ray monster catch???!!!!
1000 thumbs up for originality. Loved it
thank you stephen
Try using Apoxie sculpt it's a two part epoxy putty easy to use and hardened into plastic
that's a great and unique looking bait.
Any way you still have that mold master I could buy?
They look so real great video
Send one to Beach Bomber to fish off the Galveston pier
well like said before i was about to make a stingray mold, but say yours. i am going to fl for some shore line fishing and wanted to try a stingray. Any chance of buying these
john
When you cleardip do you use regular Plastisol just heated up, or do you use something in it to make it clear?
jjust regular plastic
Wow! Very nice!
They are way too cute to go fishing with!
another great video you never disappoint keep up the good work! And If it's alright to ask what's the name of the outro music I have been trying to find it for so long lol.
Cool lure and great video!

Awesome bait!!! Would like to see another video with more colors
Please do an update on weather they catch fish.
Love the content of your video uploads....keep them coming.

Sweet looking ray! Never seen one before in any tackle shop. Good job!
its a little impractical, but fun to make!
Sir your amazing I mean everything you do are master pieces sir keep up the great work and I would love to get some of your baits or lures your great keep,it up
Nicely done. I bet it will work on the SM river!
yeah probably!!!
That thing is sick
Cool process. Thanks for sharing. I think if you rig that ray with a slider jig like a Bonefish or Redfish jig, it might really catch some small Sharks. Slider rig would work in the surf too. Good luck, well done Sir.
My favorite video yet!
thanks Joe!
You did a killer job on them, they look really good.
thank you
Is there any way I can get a mold for that?
Those look awesome! Nice work!

These would be killer for California surf fishing if it were made with the floating plastic, fished on a Carolina Rig. I'll bet the Striper would go nuts.
This is fire
thank you man
Another awesome video and you got some Talent cheers🍻🍻🍻
thanks man...cheers
Hey bro, try floating plastic for the head I mean the top portion of the lure and sinking plastic for the wings, then use the weighted hook!
That’s bad ass! I need to take these out in the bay, and the ocean!
me too!
That’s more then epic I would fish with that all day long I use a lot of my salt water lures for bass fishing and thay work grate. The hole time I’m watching this I’m thinking I hope he makes a bunch and even some that glow in the dark grate job on this can’t wait to see you fish with it
I love that you test the bait in your bathtub...maybe we should send you an old fish tank?
either that or I need to go fishing more!
I've never seen a stingray lure but I bet you could bounce it across the bottom and get redfish to hit it.
thats what my friend thinks too..he has tons of redfish experience
It would be cool to see how they work
Cobia would eat those rays up. Stingrays and catfish are what they usually have in their stomachs. Those would be a little on the small side though. Really an excellent tutorial on making custom molds.
King of DIY here on youtube just recently got some of these. He also has pet freshwater stingrays.
Dude that’s so sick, make a video of the lure out in action.
im trying...getting underwater shots is tough
are you using clay or plasticene for the sculpture?
clay
Great job
whether they work or not, you need to sell them!!!! I would be happy just to add one to my collection. I would love to try it surf fishing off of South Padre Island!!
I'll sell you a few..email me and lets talk.

good bait for shark on the flats and grouper
did you ever fish with it

If they ever become on sale, I would like to by one off from you.
Have you ever thought of using a syringe to pour intricate details? You can get some large syringes at a feed store.
I wonder how the action would change if you cut slits from outside the edges of the eyes all the way down the sides to where the little wings are to make big flappers on both sides. Might resemble the 'ripple' effect they have when they swim.
yeah not sure, I thought about that before and couldnt think of a way to get the flapping action
Excellent video
You should get a 68 special huddleston swimbait and try and recreate it i really want to try it
yeah thats a great bait!
Pure Awesomeness!
haha thank you..keep up those awesome swirls!
Rigging it to swim right is my curiosity. Hogy has a flat flounder lure they copied off of Long Island NY legendary fisherman Steve Petri Petris Fish lure.
yeah it will be tricky to rig right..its an odd shape for a bait
I think a 90 degree or 45 deg jig hook would work best. VMC barbarian has a nice gap. How to pour around the hook is the big question.
I would love to try one of these here in Daytona in the river and inlet.
Did anyone you mentioned have any luck with this in saltwater?
That is freaking cool!!!
Thank you
What kind of resin is that?
its silicone not resin..its from hobby silicone online
Oh its silicone but dude it will be destroyed by one time only?wouldn't it?
You can also make your boxes out of foam board & a hot glue gun. You can also use some Mold Release to keep the mold from sticking to the box as much, i've seen some use nonstick cooking spray as well.
yeah I def need to work on the boxes haha
Striped Bass would love this lures
Yeah they might gobble these up
Is it official do bass like stingrays lol
It's official .. Chris is a crazy genius. Deep enough to pour with a .5 to 1 oz head for surf fishing.
If you're going any where Anna Maria Island we've cought many fish and ray's fishing from the beachs and pier, so I think they'll work.

haha nope...but now I have!
That is amazing I would like some of those. Though I couldn't bring myself to use them lol
did the stingray catch anything?
They look real in the water .... very original. I bet a red would take a swing at it in the surf.
yes I think it would too..reds love the rays and crabs
Awesome!!
I would definitely buy some of those!!!!!!!!!
