- In todays chivalry 2 video we are looking at the most underrated weapons in chivalry 2. These weapons are slept on but are some of the best in the game. A chivalry 2 tip i have is to use some of these weapons to elevate your gameplay. These weapons are all highly effective in team objective mode, and most work well in dueling too. What is your most underrated weapon in the game?
Executioners ace
The generic axe it feels like just a slightly less powerful battle axe and can be used with a shield and as a secondary
As a fellow highland sword enjoyer, I think it can be a frustrating weapon for most people to fight against (including me). One, I don't see many people run it in TO. Two, because the weapon is so slow and can take 1-2 business days to complete a full swing, I think people get antsy waiting for the attack. When you throw in feints, heavies, and drags people tend to counter too early and get punished.
The knife
The shovel is the best weapon hands down
The most underrated weapon is the throwing mallet
Got me that rock skin, love me mallet
You can cancel your highland special after it hits and immediately follow with another attack. It's super satisfying to pull off. Turning your back and using the special to hit them from behind is funny too.
Rapier is crazy underrated. Very few players play it, it looks more like a normal short sword/one-handed weapon, so enemies don't expect such a high frequency of stabs. It doesn't stand out like a sore thumb like spears or katars
The rapier is almost near broken in duels lol, but luckily it’s team fights attributes kind of balances it out ig
Rapier is bad in 1v1s that’s why you don’t see it everywhere. It does very little stamina damage & it has a short counter window. It just gets bad players who think you have to counter every feint.

I’m almost level 500 and after trying out the weapon for the first time a couple of weeks ago, I’ve been in love since 🤤 my dopamine levels have been through the roof
thanks for giving Highland Sword some insight, lately I've been playing with the Executioner Sword lately and it got me to 78 as Vanguard
As a highland sword main it's nice to finally see some appreciation for it
And with the special attack doing so much damage it's actually the most fun weapon to use when killing archers due to it just being so intimidating to look at running towards you :) I've been given a few threats over my time killing archers with it

The bonk sound of the goedendag is my second favourite sound in the game, behind the "for shites sake, shut yer cunny" voice line

Great video! I hate fighting opponents with battle axes...especially on bridges in the game. They're so deadly in close range and there's almost no room to run away lol
The Highland Sword is easily my favorite weapon! It makes me feel like Guts from Berserk, and is SO SATISFYING. Archers beware :)

It's funny how nobody talks about the goedendag's special and how it can knock riders off their horses while also deleting the horse's health.

One thing I don’t like about modern chiv 2 is no one pick up map only weapons anymore. They only stay with their sweaty spears and great/hi sword

Crazy how every weapon he mentioned is one I’ve had a strange few pull towards. Earned the VIP on Citadel with the Goedendag and finished a grind of the 2H Hammer a month ago to get the sick fist skin and I’ve come to truly love this thing.
The highland sword is my main weapon forever, im enjoying the dane axe just because its funny throwing and still keeping a two handed weapon in the bag

Don't forget the Goegendag special also COMPLETELY DESTROYS hosrses if you like 40 player lobbies this is so fun! I love it for when players are winding up a heavy or jousting with a lance and then BAM! sidestep into a horse knockdown really freaks them out.
I had hoped the Goedendag would be like a shorter War Club with a good stab, but it functions more like a maul. Which isnt bad, but i dont like it much. Still, i was surprised by how few people use it since it really is a good weapon, and it being slow isn't particularly a terrible thing since that means it has wider parry timings and better drags

@@StridahsAngels overhead heavies with the goedendag feel reaaally good during exchanges, almost feels like the highland how people get baited by how slow the weapon travels and they get antsy with timing
The Battle Axe is soooo underated. It's lack of reach is its greatest strength when 1 on 1 and you overhead chop under the arm and behind the enemy's knees. They almost can't block it, its awesome lol
Most of my lobbies are using the highland sword as a crutch 😂

Still waiting on the katars buff. It's insanity how bows can interrupt attacks but not those things
I didn't have much love for the battle axe until one of the level 1000 regulars switched to it from highlander. He usually tops the scoreboard on any team he's in by a significant margin, and that battle axe is now his favourite, and one of mine too. I'm still hopeless with the highlander though.

Short sword is underrated. It is a gamble stick like the morning star and rapier are, but you can go through multiple enemies while those cannot. You get the backstab damage if you use it on ambusher which is very useful. Ive dominated many lobbies with that little sword.
Same it’s my favorite weapon on top of having throwing knifes. Mass areas I find it does very well because you can do ur short attack and get a bunch of takedowns. And I just enjoy the satisfaction of throwing knife kills
I never liked the two handed hammer bc I played a lot of polehammer and it always just felt like a worse version of that to me
its faster than that. It's really just a slightly crappier heavy mace honestly. Skins for it are way better though. Seriously, when we gonna get new heavy mace skins? lol
Sledgehammer for me is and a bummer for you.😊 Love the fast heavy attacks which can tap multiple knights, also I main engie and use it on offense for objectives also. The most lovely thing about fast weapons are that noobies can't gamble you 😅

Some questionable choices here and there but I appreciate that you do more than just gameplay
Heavy mace is not underated, it is the top blunt weapon there is. The 10 stam negation is just even more op

Knife, dagger, most underrated
Personally, the cavalry sword is a bit useless, even more so when we have the scimitar. The cavalry sword's swings are quite slow with little damage when the scimitar is basically the same but faster.
You can pull of some weird/fun stuff with the cavalry sword and I personally feel it has a tad more range which makes me like it!
Watch me play cav and slap servers, bits better then falchion

I gave a few chances to the goedendag but disliked it. Maybe it works better on decent players because you can do some crazy swing manipulation with its wide and stupidly slow attacks... But in 64p TO pubs, people literally just walk forward and left click so by the time your swing starts you have been hit by three executioner axes already

i don't understand the hype about different types of attack on goedendag. Slashes are blunt, pokes are piercing. Omg, we never had something like this before. yeah? of course not. Dagger, knife, spears, rapier, all hammers can hit multiple enemies with their stabs lol. It's just a marketing that making their new weapon not that boring.

The people who use "The Battle Axe" are annoying as the "Danish Axe player" but being actually good.
War Club is the best, but it needs someone who knows how to use his speed properly and your aim still so bad
