Knowing when to use left attacks was an important piece to feeling competent on the battlefield, especially with slashes it completely makes or breaks whether you get around their block. And you also get a lot of unintentional counters fairly often for those of us who haven't perfectly mastered countering
@blank4142 attack from whichever direction they are not facing. Like if you're trying to flank an enemy from the side, you want to be circling towards their back and attack from the side where the tip of your weapon is approaching them from behind not in front

I have a question regarding the 3rd tip: if an enemy attacked me with alt slash or counter slash (right side of my screen), would it be easier for me to counter his attack if i did alt counter slash? Or it does not matter from which side I counter?

You also also cancel lunge by not moving, crouched or not. Same side feint was patched out, now you need to wait about 100ms before attacking same side as last feint. Alt overhead being faster is placebo. Most people are not used to seeing that type of animation. The rest of the video is still solid advice.
You can same side feint by cancelling then immediately throwing an alternate counter but it cost a lot of stamina and is almost the same speed as just waiting
i have a really dumb question - i just got this game. In 1v1s I always get kicked because after I go for an attack i default back to blocking. Should I be blocking reactively rather than proactively? I am a noob 😭
nvm i just watched your "How to get good at chivalry 2! A 4 Step Program! (Guide)" and I am indeed a shitter. I need to be countering instead of just instinctively blocking every time after i try for a hit.
I like to play the knight and the archer I really like the archer because it's nice to cover people. Like those last chances or fights those archers are needed and it's even better when you forget the score board and do what archers do best and that's cover firing for the team keep enemies health low and watch as they get killed sure you won't get big points but ppl will love you

Could you go over some three men or maybe even four-man formations that people can try and choke points and bottlenecks because it seems like a lot of people are focusing on their independent fighting skill and not so much the formation or team fighting in team objective. Likely because they don’t know of any formations to try.
What about an idea of changing keybinds of alt attacks to normal attacks like Left Mouse button etc? Just to confuse opponents even more. Is animations speed the same overall or is it a bad idea?
You forgot an old technique used while crouching. First you have to change your crouch key to something closer to your left hand, then as you crouch, drag your mouse hard to one side to successfully dodge. It's called the Crouching Typer, Hidden Dragger.
Just curious how come you play in 1p instead of 3p? I always see "play in 3rd" in new player guides but I play in 1p since 3p is awkward for me for judging distance
I’m pretty sure crouching to accel an overhead does nothing compared to just looking down. I’ve seen a few videos explaining and showing it side to side and in the end it’s better to not crouch because crouching does stop you from regaining stamina
@@StridahsAngels I just got bad luck in this case. Imagine we lost atack on theic stronghold as mason on the first objective....Or loosing TMD maps on 30 + kill difference.
@@StridahsAngels Ever since the influx of players with the game pass I saw so many losses when you should not loose and vice versa. Those new players can be so bad sometimes it feels like they are twice more enemies.

Pathing on the maps. I am newer and it's hard to know if I'm in the right place. When I look on scoreboard, I rarely see the top people on enemy team kill me. Is flanking and spawn camping the play?
So the game is 100% better on pc huh. Got it free on ps and my friends got it to I use it for party . I might just have to get it on both if it comes to it

I like to flourish into some attacks, it doesn’t slow attacks but sometimes looks like attacks to the enemy
I agree. Used that as javelin to feint actual throw against blockers. That weapon raise is offensive.

I have bound cancel to Q since day 1. Infact, I never used special attack at all, in my opinion it interrupts my flow.

What exactly is displayed on the readout of your opponent when they kill you? And how do you idle juggle your weapon?! Asking the real questions here

Whats the deal with cancelling a triple feint? On another video it says you cancel it on console with either X or B but that doesnt do anything.
Some of these techniques are tough for me on console. Too clunky with the controller, but definitely worth trying.
I have a few console boys who use them just got to get it down to habit
