Stankdog's bike is like the F1 V10s, it sounds so fast and great. Makes me remember those hot days and the last bike on the track is a pro rider smashing the track hard, 15 minutes before the track closes.
Unique guy for unique bike ! We cheer for him every weekend to help him make the main ! Really like tHe way he rides and go 100% all the time. The track is not made for the 125 power band but he adjust and make it work. It takes a lot of talent.

StankDog on the 125 in SX this year is the best thing to happen in the sport in a long time. Please, PLEASE race StankDog's 125 on the East coast. It's pretty much the only way that you could make your channel even cooler than it already is. Keep up the great work!!!
Every time I see ya on a 125 I just shake my head. It’s hard being such a great rider in general and not being financially rewarded for it on the track. So glad you’ve found your calling with this whole thing, man. I feel the same way with music and teaching...been in magazines as a musician but never could live comfortably $-wise on that life, so now I’m a teacher and I love it. 🤷♂️
It's cool watching you execute the techniques that you teach on a bike you've never ridden. I'm a professional drummer and 90% of what I study is technique. Big focus on learning anatomical efficiency/physiology, breaking down the body's motor functions and looking at how they can affect the movement of a drumstick as it rebounds off of a drum. I shifted my focus to music in 2013 and haven't been on a bike in years, but I still watch every vid and wish that this technique based focus had been available to me back then because I would've eaten it up and been a much more consistent and confident rider, and would've looked way less like a spode in my track pictures 😂
Probably a little better, but not much. He said he is so good at the 2t that he can literally get the same times when comparing a 125cc 2t to the 250cc 4t. That is just exceptional 2 stroke skill, my man. No one can do it as good as him - if they did, THEY would be the ones in the AMA history books, not Stankdog!!!! 💪
Also I owned a 2020 Husqvarna TE150i and it was one of the funnest bikes out there...but I'm a heavyweight kickboxer, so after dabbling with that and the YZ250FX for a few years and selling both, I now have a moved up to brand new machines off the showroom floor with a 2019 TM Racing EN300ES 2t with fully modified engine, and just bought a 2022 Honda CRF450R for my 4t bike - XPR Engines will be building it for maximum pleasure! But man, do I wish I would have held on to that TE150i - surprisingly fun and very simple - it totally felt like a mountain bike with an engine!

I grew up with 2 strokes and at 15 I had a KX 500 that was a friggin dog with rabies! I rip a gas gas ec 300 in the woods nowadays and it's a beast as well. I love the channel, keep it up!
Loved helmet cam on Stankdogs 125! Sounds and looks fast! 9+ for sure! Owned + raced RM125 '81/'84, Honda CR125 '87/'89, Kawasaki KX125 '89, KTM SX150 '12 and rode and tested a lot other 125's, f.e. KX 125 '90 European Championship bike retract the engine for Team Green rider.
There you go! A well tuned 125, or 250 two stroke. AMA and FIM, change the rules, bring back professional two stroke racing. Also fix that stupid unleaded fuel rule. The sport was so much more exciting when we had them at the nationals or sx. Dont forget 2005. Two stroke rules period!

Nice to see his well the TE150 stacks up against the 125 pro bike. Recently got a 2023 TE150 myself and love it so far, but definitely not up to your guys’ intense riding or skill level.

Some of the top companies at the 450 class rebuild there engine once or twice a day so it's like extremely expensive but they own their bikes so it's different but for a privateer it's gotta be thousands if not 10s of thousands per race easy
@@dylanlevy2107 right but hes 2 stankin, so I'm wondering if the cost ratio is similar in the pro race world as it is in the regular bike world. IE- 2t parts/work are relatively inexpensive compared to those 4 stroke engines with their valves and whatnots. If its more cost effective and Stankdog has proven its competitive with all but the factory guys, i would bet KTM and other teams definitely took notice of Stankdog putting it in the main..I guess what I'm gettin at is it'd be awesome as shit if they started giving more factory backing to 2t or even start a whole smoker team
Id say piston at 5 hours max and crank every 10hrs max for pro privateer. So his race bike probably gets fresh top end every SX weekend or every second at the most.

AJ? So Stankdogs 125 has supercross suspension but you are riding at Barona, an outdoor track. Given that Barona is not a national caliber outdoor track. But. Say if you were riding at Fox Raceway. Would you rather have the suspension set up differently (for outdoor) or would you just rather ride it just the way it is, even though it's set up with supercross suspension?
So AJ, what year was the Husky 125 and would you say it is better than a kTM sx 125? My daughter is doing her first season in the Finnish womans championships this year at only 16 years old and she is currently on a 2019 KTM 125. Thinking of getting a new bike later this year.

Three is a big difference between transfer port injection and carburetor. Maybe that's why KTM is going to change to throttle body injector.
