You're a lifesaver! I need to move out of a rented property soon and have been worried about how to deal with all the scratches on the dining room table.
Can you use it for bleached timber, I tried to clean my outdoor chair with bleach and water to get rid of the sticky poo and disinfect it but a few spots white became white? So I want to see if I used this, can erase this white spots?
Hey there, I just ordered these to cover a small spot on a new piece of furniture. What's the difference between using the markers vs. the wax? Thank you in advance.
If they are coloured then you could try a matching paint to touch it up. Or if it's wood finish try touch up marker like in video. Thanks for watching.
Hi Amber, probably more wax, or use some turps or white spirits to remove the old wax then rework your new wax stick into the wood. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!
Question - looks like a similar table and chair set that I currently own (IKEA)... have you done any repairs on the table surface that you could show on video?
I think it was from Next. I bought it second hand. I haven't 'repaired' the table top but I did use the touch up marker on it which hid any chips. It is difficult to repair laminate, but the touch up hid any marks a treat. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
Hi there... how you doing? I need an advice from you, i have a very expensive side table, it had a crack, i filled the crack with wood filler and then sanded to smooth it now i need a matching paint for touch ups on that but I’m not sure how to match the color exactly... should i just paint the area or first i should stain or something? can you tell me how to match the color please?
You could have used a wax coloured filler but as you have already filled it then you will need to find a matching paint or stain to go over the filler. Not a lot else you can do really. Sorry if that's not much help!
Hi , My desk has been scratched pretty badly , i can feel some sort of soft paper underneath so i'm wondering if fill sticks are the best thing to use for it . Also is there something to remove wax marks because candle wax fell on my desk and there's a mark on my desk and it looks really bad. My desk is new so I don't want to buy a new one - any ideas? Thank you.
Hi there, if it's some sort of paper, then it's probably a laminate desk so probably colour pens will be best. Unfortunately that doesn't fill the holes up but does make it less noticeable. It's difficult to fill laminate, but you could try coloured wax. Failing that you could try a wood filler, and colour it once it sets, or buy a pre coloured wood filler to match the colour of the desk but this is a bit more of a DIY job rather than a quick fix with a pen or wax filler. As for removing the wax stain, try some turps (turpentine) on a bit of cloth and give it a light rub. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!
+POUSE around the HOUSE cant you buy some kind of contact paper that you put on top of the desk? Or would it be easier to use some sort of paint or varnish?
Probably easier to use paint or varnish than contact paper. The reason for the pens is they are cheap, quick and go back in the drawer for another use. Obviously there are better quality products like varnish and paints but they cost more and take a bit longer to do. It's entirely up to you. Give it a go and let us know how you get on. Thanks for the comments and thanks for watching.
NEVER, and I repeat, NEVER, use the wax fillers on furniture. Eventually they will dry out and leave an ugly stain. They will also begin to actually melt in warm weather and drip down the furniture. Use them at your own risk!!

Thank God I found these im gonna touch up so many items here at home since im moving out and the landlord told me to touch up as much as I can
Best of luck with the colouring in!
This is brilliant! I just got a table with some tiny scratches on the edge. I think this will be perfect for my problem. Thanks a lot!
No problem, glad you found it useful. For such a cheap price they do make a big difference! Good luck with the table and thanks for watching!
Fantastic tip thank you. I've ordered some from Amazon to touch up my guitars.
Thanks for watching!
Literally, a lifesaver, 👍

Never tried that but there's one way to find out! Best of luck.
What do I do if I went to dark and made a mistake? How do I undo a mistake where it looks blotchy? What do I do or use to correct it?
Good information, thanks for posting this video! 👍
No problem, thanks for watching.
@@POUSEaroundtheHOUSE Your welcome!
Hey there, I just ordered these to cover a small spot on a new piece of furniture. What's the difference between using the markers vs. the wax? Thank you in advance.
Wax is better for real wood. The marker pens are good for thin veneers or cheaper furniture. The wax can actually fill the wood. Best of luck with it!
Can you do something for kitchen cupboards
If they are coloured then you could try a matching paint to touch it up. Or if it's wood finish try touch up marker like in video. Thanks for watching.
@@POUSEaroundtheHOUSE it was good.. What about the inside of kitchen cupboards. They are white and always chip off..
Vorrei sapere cortesemente come si toglie, l'ho dato su un segno ad una porta,ma non mi piace e non riesco a toglierlo .Che prodotto posso usare?
that was great! thanks for the video
got them from pounds shop for 1pound on amazon is 12quid
Good work!
Quick question can you use those for burnt marks on tables to cover it up
You could try but I imagine the burn marks will make the marker look a bit darker. Give it a go!
POUSE around the HOUSE can I try to use a lighter color
Do you have any suggestions on what to use over the wax crayon furniture touch up sticks?? I'm not sure which finish I can use on top of the wax :/

Are these good for hot glue stains? I had to rub off the glue and it rubbed off the wood paint.
No idea sorry but great for touching up little chips in the wood. Thanks for watching!

Where do I get a couple of quid to buy these? :)
You could try washing cars for your neighbours, or making your own lemonade to sell on the street? Thanks for watching.

After you use the wax stick always apply light coat of lacquer
can you use it for wood floors? thank you 🤗
Hi there, I guess you could, but you may find it wears off slowly if you are cleaning the floor regularly. Give it a go and see what happens!
Hi, @@POUSEaroundtheHOUSE, do you know by chance how to remove them from a stone surface?
Sorry, for comment, I found answer below.
