It costs 10 hearts to unlock the piano itself, but you need 5 normal candles and 2 ascended candles to unlock the previous 'nodes'. Where is this? A. This is an OOB area in the 'sunny' part of the Hidden Forest. I've made another video showing how to get there. However, due to the new seasonal update(s) the barrier may have been reinforced and this area will be inaccessible to most. I used a video editor called Filmora to overlay the letters over the notes so it would be easier to demonstrate in the video. This isn't a real feature in-game, unfortunately. If you would like it to be, suggest this feature to the TGC staff (there's a suggestion channel on Discord!) and it may become possible.
@@izzxy0721 Yep, someone else has already pointed this out. I'm aware the notes on it are wrong but I don't have time to go back and rerecord - technically you can play any song in any key and it will sound 'correct' if you transpose it!
I was gonna say, there will be poeple who learned more about music in general in these 3 minutes than they ever did in school and you prved me right XD I play an instrument in real life, but I can only play one note at once, no accords (saxophone ...)
My one and only goal in Sky right now is mastering Never Gonna Give You Up on all instruments. It will be a long journey but one I’m well prepared for. The first step, is *getting an instrument.*

Hello from a kalimba player! Sky instruments play very similarly to a kalimba. Most if not all kalimba music should be able to translate fairly easily into sky if any one is looking for arrangements!
Music instruments has to be my favorite pass time in this game, I can't count how much time I spend just hanging out at hubs fiddling with my harp or horn. By the way, the horn is very nice to play with, it has this electro sounding to it when you play thirds, almost Daft Punk-ish 🙂 I've even found a way to play a few notes of "Still Alive" from Portal 👀
Beautiful likes and dislikes ratio. Best I've ever seen. There was another video used to have around 700+ likes with no dislikes but eventually when it reached 800 likes it had one dislike and now it got more popular and it had more dislikes. That video was "What does Yuzu's waist feel like?" Okay bye sorry for saying these nonsense anyway I like this video so much
Those thirds and fourths are difficult to hit its marvelous to see good know how lessons for limited keys. I’d love to see the sky rendition of “Swan Lake” or “Moonlight Sonata”

I want to be able to create a trio or even a choir of sky kids with instruments to create a full symphony of sound. I just got my first instrument so I have a long way to go as a musician in COTL but it’s an interesting and exciting concept I want to eventually work on

Wouldn't it be cool to have an orchestra of every Sky player with an instrument of their choice (or all of the instruments so far), how crazy is that? And yes I understand that there's an 8(?) player limit on the game, but I thought it would be nice. I think I would like to call it, "ThatSkyOrchestra!" But I suppose that title belongs to the composers of ThatGameCompany, but you get the idea.
Not sure if this is that important but the notes are actually in the key of F major so C is actually F, D-G, E-A But from my experience, the keys randomly change now and again so what I wrote applies only to this video~
Only one issue I have with this... the piano at the start is in F major, not C major. #PerfectPitchGang Other than that, this is an incredibly good job of explaining music theory to people who haven't actually learned it yet without touching an instrument. Nice work
Ahh, really? I wasn't sure whether this area was coded to be in C major or not - it changes depending on the area and background music (plus, this is an OOB area), which I should have mentioned in the video, thanks for pointing it out.
I made another video called Hidden Forest: Secret Area, where it tells you how to get here! The area has since changed a little due to seasonal updates but I believe it still works.
If another skykid is playing and instrument the note there playing will be highlighted purple. I hope one day I can do the dueling banjos with someone.
I'm actually a new player(playing for a week or two) on switch. The controls is different. Haven't figure how the notes assigned to the keys. Also kinda hard for me to play on switch since my friends play on their phones and they keep suggesting me what to do but ended up not doing it properly(ex: holding hands, or shop trick or music trick).
phea59314 also helps that I can read sheet music although I might be a tad rusty… I used to play the Flute when I was in middle school. I just need to familiarize myself with the notes in the game. But this video really helped with that! Also now I have more understanding of how it works in the event I want to create my own melody.

Thought you might want to know, but the scale you played at 00:08 is actually F Major so it should be F G A Bb C D E F :)))

what I did was using a tuner to figure out what notes you have and then marking them with tape :)
