The original game did NOT fade in and out as you clicked around to move through the house. The perspective actually maneuvered in 3D space to transition between the fixed points. I'm going to need to hear the acting and especially the music before I know whether I'm interested in this remake. The soundtrack of the original is absolutely iconic. This is the perfect modern interpretation of the original 7th Guest experience. I´m just as fascinated by the 3D preformance capture of these actors as I was with the original FMVs, being in VR gives a sense of presence that only my child mind in the 90s could experience with the 2D original, it brings new ideas that make perfect sense, like the flashlight and the enviromental puzzles... I´m just so glad this exists.
Interesting. I couldn't afford a computer with a CD-rom drive in it until about 2-3 years later after I got a job working at Taco Bell so I missed out on this game even though I read a lot about it in magazines.

I own both the original and the sequel the 11th hour originally and I really wished this would have gotten pc support without the vr.
