  • Locations that may cause plugging
    1. Gear set: confirm that there is no waste residue filament in the extruder gear set,
    2. Nozzle: withdraw the filament, heat the nozzle to 240 °, and use the attached 0.3mm metal needle to pass through the nozzle to ensure normal passage without resistance.
    3. Metal throat: remove the hot end and observe that there is no residual filament in the throat, otherwise use tools to remove the residual filament or replace the metal throat
After confirming the above positions, operate and load the filament. First, confirm that the filament is straight and free of winding, deformation, bulge and inclination. Confirm that the filament passes through the driving wheel and idler wheel group of the extruder. Introduce the lower guide pipe and enter the hot end through the throat. When a perfect filament is extruded from the nozzle.

Great Video. I would of never thought of removing the whole assembly like you did. The v400 is my first delta, has worked very well a couple of weeks. Now I keep on getting a clogged nozzle , I unclog it then after a print or two it clogs again. I will check out to see if the extruder is clean, then if needed following your video check the "Metal throat"

the V400 is a great printer, but tutorials like these are essential for it's operation. I hit a clog on the second day of printing, and the traction on the stuck filament meant I had to pull hard enough to pull one of the electrical crimps loose.

For mine I thought it was a machine problem but it turns out I wasn't putting it in all the way I had to bend it to go past the plastic while holding the side button down to insert it then hit load and it started to melt down the nozzle. It kept saying not below minimum temp or something like that but the temp didn't matter at all. Hopefully this is your issue too and this helps 😮😮

the fact that you already have to fix it is what makes it suck i have a qqs pro and its a nightmare
